Started my rat's first research cycle in January to help with weight loss and lower back pain. With no clear direction, stacked Reta, MOT-C, and BPC/TB. Rat lost the weight, but lower back pain remained.

Three weeks ago he started his next research cycle to help with building muscle and address back pain with something new. Tesa, CJC/IP, and ARA290. Things going well performance wise so far, but lower back pain remains (albeit generally better). He planned to continue this research for another nine weeks.

With that said, he's also very interested in researching with something to help with brain fog, mental clarity, and focus. He's 56 and not as sharp as he used to be (problem solving, searching for words, memory, etc.). He originally planned to wait until his current research cycle was finished before moving on to something specific for this issue (thinking Semax, Pinealon, and/or Cerebrolysin...also maybe trying Cartalax for the back). However, today he struggled enough mentally that he's not sure he wants to wait that long.

Is he better off waiting until his current research ends before starting a cognitive research cycle? Or is he ok researching these (or other) additional peptides while involved in his current research? Any advice is appreciated. TIA

Did some experimenting and found .333mg x2 a day to be effective. On bad days I do .5mg x2 a day.
After a pause in research I accidentally dosed 2mg at once and had no adverse effects other then being pain and inflammation free for a few hours after waking up. YMMV

I think most of us are that way. Especially when we see what other people are doing and the results they say they are getting. I have definitely accelerated protocols because I didn’t want to wait, and also moved things around - and delayed things - to make progress.

But if you are looking for longevity and healthspan, then you have to look at this as a long term project, and focus on the foundation first, improvement, then optimization.

One reason to take your time is so you can see the benefits something is having and decide if it is worth keeping or you should do something else.

Peptides like Epitalon may not have an obvious immediate benefit (some people say sleep is much improved, but I take it for longevity, which is expensive to measure, though you probably should.) Other things, like Sermorelin, take several months to notice, where CJC/Ipa, you notice in weeks if you’re lifting. Maybe if you’re not. When you take 8 things at once for the first time, you may see great benefits but you don’t really know what is what.

I am mostly off-cycle at the moment and getting ready to cycle Tesa next month. Hopefully I will see desired changes, and if not, go back to cycling CJC/Ipa.

Starting to think MOTS-C might be the magic elixir. Not 100%. Titrated to 1mg/day over a month and feeling pretty good. (And per Randy, taking Semax so I don’t lose my rage. )

Also focusing on core stability, hip flexors, hamstrings, etc. during strength training. I’m beginning to wonder if the first cycle of BPC/TB was too low of a dose. Also, it looks like KLOW might be a better option next go around.

For cognitive, I have tried Semax and currently researching Dihexa. I can’t say with certainty it is helping. I think it is? But that could also be the Glow/CJC/Ipa?MOTS-C/Epitalon/SS-31, better diet, or sleeping better.

After running ARA for 30 days I then ran KPV. It really helped with the inflammation from back pain. When I started dosing kpv twice a day the brain fog lifted by 90%, so did back pain. Adding a glutathione nasal also helped with brain fog.
Inflammation causes brain fog, I would look at kpv.
