It just depends on how detailed and fancy you want to get.
I have the basic Niimbot D110 and it's fine for anything I need to do on my vials

I just got the one on the Peptidecritic affiliate link. It’s pretty sweet!

@Randy oh that does look nice. Do you have an affiliate link for that one? I’m about to order another Xulin pen from you; that’s my favorite so far

Xulin is one of my faves too. I appreciate you asking and we do but there's a really good deal straight through niimbot with the 3 rolls of labels https://niimbots.com/products/m2-2-inch-thermal-transfer-label-maker?variant=47127645028588

To get the multicolor look grab a colored tape, toss it in, print the color part, swap files and tapes and print the black part.

I was able to do this with the label maker linked on this site(b21?). This is only the second label I have ever printed, so I am sure it can do much better, and that it is idiot proof. (The QR code works!) The first one I printed wasn’t this grainy.

Also, now I have to buy silver labels.

The silvers dont work with the b21. I still use the b21 and its great. It also doesnt require tapes, or have a microchip that scans the roll to make sure its a niimbot brand like the m2. The m2 is a bit annoying for a lot of reasons but you get different label options.

Thx. I was just looking on amazon and seeing no silver. I hate when they do that chip scan tech to force you to use their stuff, then expire it after a while. I’m happy with the B21. It’s more a nice to have than a necessity, but will make storing Nexaph product and prepping fat juice for my bride’s rat a lot easier.

I have Munbyn thermal printers. A 130 and a 941. I don’t notice that much of a difference to justify the price of the 300dpi 941 model. They take any brand label. It has a sensor to read the black bars on the back side of Munbyn labels, and an optical sensor to see the gaps between labels which allows it to be used with any label that has a gap between them. The app is easy to use. You can tell it exactly what size label you have so you aren’t stuck with template measurements.

I've been using the NIIMBOT B1. Works flawlessly with the label maker. IMG_0342.jpeg
