This is not a peptide, it is an experimental small molecule. But it looks like it destroys adipocytes. Weight loss shrinks them, but this literally destroys them.
Since the myostatin inhibitors don’t seem to be resulting in the real muscle growth (just bigger muscle cells but less power and less miruchondria), maybe this will be the next big thing in stacking with the glp1 / amylin class of meds.

    https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC12080885/

“CBL-514 (Caliway Biopharmaceuticals, New Taipei City, Taiwan) is a small-molecule injection lipolysis agent that promotes adipocyte apoptosis and targeted subcutaneous fat reduction in nonclinical studies without causing any skin necrosis, ulceration, nerve injury, and systemic side effects.”

@mmp holy crap! That’s nuts. I hope the people that buy this know what it is. It acts locally, it’s like chemical liposuction. If you don’t have a good administration technique, you’re going to end up all lumpy and bumpy and lopsided. Heh

Thanks for talking some sense into me. Just got an email from peptide plugs that they will be carrying it soon and I signed up for notification once they get it. Now reading your post I’m like wtf am I even thinking of trying to research this on myself.

Lol. I just did the calculation for how much my dose would be to treat my belly. Just shy of 1500mg. The clinical trial was capped at 600mg. Would I just treat the middle of my belly and create a crater?

Doing the actual treatment doesn't sound that difficult. Get your Sharpie out and draw a grid with 1" spacing than pin 2mg at each spot. I still wonder what the end result would look like only being able to treat 10% of the surface area on somebody with my current body composition.

Oh yeah. Fun fact. At roughly $10/mg which is the lowest I see it listed for, that's $6,000 per treatment. The trial capped at 4 treatments 4 weeks apart. $24,000 to follow the dosing protocol laid out for that trial. I only see it in 20mg vials. You would need a total of 120 vials. Nuts.

It's listed here, also. They aren't clear about whether or not they will ship to the US, though.

If you don't mind going grey, I found two vendors that have it at 10% of the cost of the retail price.

                        https://t.me/+nEUo3gENCGsxZmM1 50mg for $200/kit

https://t.me/+mC-OPuWA4vs5MmI1 20mg $82/kit but not in stock right now

                            How would they test it?

Caliway's patents don't disclose the CBL-514 compound itself and markets it as an undisclosed 505(b)(1) new chemical entity.

More weight was lost when the drug was given along with the GLP1-RA tirzepatide. In addition, rats given CBL-514 and tirzepatide regained less weight when tirzepatide was stopped than rats given tirzepatide alone.
The hypothesis is that the reduction in fat cells limits the amount of fat that can be reaccumulated, slowing weight regain. (tested only on rats for now)

Four weeks after the last treatment, average visceral abdominal tissue volume had decreased by 12.01% from baseline (human)
