Tessamorelin protocol ? Cons / side effects ?
-
@vpeptides wow read all the comments especially @randy
Ive been on 2iu of GH for 6months, my baseline IGF was 212 then with the GH ive been upper range 355.
I have 2 options….
Drop to 1.5iu and get a little lower.
Or drop GH for 2months and use Tesa/IPA, im not looking for optimal ranges but more to jump start my system while i finish my cut end of Nov.
Then in Dec go back to GH 1.5iu and in Jan start FLGR
Lets see what @randy says

2mg a day over 12 weeks is the standard. Ive done it. Sore joints, water retention, isr are common.
HGH doesnt give me any of those.
@Randy Same here. 25 days on Tesa 1.5\Ipa .4 mg and my hands and wrists in particular are sore and achy. Also minor overall joint soreness and my hands are going numb while sleeping. Shelving the Tesamorelin.....

@diegoc 200 is not very high, especially looking at your 355. The side-effects seems like settling down.

180 - 220 is the sweet spot for long term health and anti-aging. The overall relative risk for all cause mortality starts to increase at 160. I push this a little higher because I find the benefits worth the risk, and given everything else positive I am doing health wise going into the 200 range is fine for me. Personally though would not be comfortable pushing my IGF-1 at 355 long term into older age and beyond, the benefits/risk-reward IMO isn't worth it. 200 is a strong signal and you're getting all the benefits that IGF-1 provides (tissue repair, recovery, lypolisis) while mitigating overall risks.

Going from 121 to 200 on 1mg of Tesa is a solid response. I would add Ipamorelin, if its compounded at 10/3 a 300mcg dose of Ipamorelin is fine, a little on the higher end but should suffice. Retest after awhile and adjust from there.
You might end up only needed 500 -750mcg of Tesa when you combine with Ipa. That would still leave you using 150 - 225 of Ipa which is plenty.

I agree and i can find reports for everything we eat and drink thats says it has a higher risk of mortality.
In my opinion.
Some markers i will take to the upper limits of the reference range for a short period of time.
If you can see by my thread Im saying Im going to take a break and then re start at a lower dose, then I will give my body a chance to produce IGF.
Then i will do Blood work… Everything i do is based off BW.
If you see all my post, I plan all my protocols 1 year in advance.
I have 2027 Bio regulators and Peptides all planned out.
I even have how I will train, what muscles will I train more and others just maintain.
Then when i get to were i want to be I will review all my BW and protocols and go into a maintenance phaae of my life.
By being higher on the reference range for some periods in time, i feel its within my risk profile.
Ok I might not live to 120 but if I live to a good age, looking good and feeling good, thats good for me.
I respect if you are good with 200 igf,

@Neil-McCauley also my plan is to rotate after i see what sides if any from Tesa and Ipa
I think my IGF would be good with just 1iu of GH which i have 0 side effects on 2, so it would save me money in the long run

@Neil-McCauley Thank you! I use Tesa and Ipa each from separate vials for the research until I figure out the proper ratio.

Just got my IGF-1 result from Quest after 1 mg Tesamorelin for 3 weeks. 200 ng/mL. My base is 121 ng/mL. I added 200 mcg Ipamorelin since then planning to retest in a few weeks. Quest takes about a week to publish the result.

I think pretty much most people really only need 1iu of GH, that will generally get you into that sweet spot that I noted above and you'll see benefits over time. I believe in the studies of elderly people and GH that's all they were using and had several positive benefits and side effects were very low. It's the dosage I'd start with if I went that route.

If you're going separate vials, 1mg of Tesa and Ipa I'd run at 2mcg/kg.

@Neil-McCauley TRIIM trial used 4IU (initially) for a year to regrow thymus though. Didn't report serious side effects.

@Neil-McCauley that's what I figured too. Rounded to 200mcg for simplicity, close enough.

@Neil-McCauley i agree with you but i just had lunch with a guy that has over 5000 clients in the hormone clinics and he takes 3iu and is jn the high 190s.
So you gotta test and do BW and titrate up or down

You can try cutting the dose in half. Also watch your sodium intake, that really does matter more so than you might think.

Usually that's a case of a fatty/sluggish liver. GH gets filtered through the liver, where it is converted to igf-1. If one has a fatty liver/poor liver function they will have all sorts of problems converting GH --> igf-1. This is true regardless of what type of GH boosting therapy or frank HGH administration you're using.
I would wager that's the case with the guy on 3iu with an igf-1 in the 190s.

@Neil-McCauley hes using Pharm grade GH, not to say that underground is less potent, because the one i have stock now is almost 99% pure GUD Uncle Wang Approved

Yeah, I got the sore joints, especially in my hands, bad. It made me think the KLOW wasn’t working any more. 2mg x 60 days and i stopped and went back to CJC/Ipa. I might try tesa/ipa in the future, but at a lower dose.
I think that for me, it takes a solid 2 months to see the changes in my core wrt getting much more defined. But even gaining 5 lbs pretty much covers it up, and you gotta be working out and minding your diet to really reap the gains.
@ResearchCat 2mg is 2x too much, i use this from lic doctors and its 1mg , any more you get side effects.

I’m having a hard time understanding why anyone would take Tesa? Everything I’ve read, and all actual studies show that any progress made with Tesa will go quickly back to baseline once therapy is stopped? Am I reading this wrong?

Hey everyone, been seeing through my research on Tessa that it can be a potential tumor / cancerous increase due to the GH stimulation. I am relatively new to peptides, just trying to see what others have found with this peptide.
Regarding the dosage , what would be best recommend, and cycle length ? Thanks guys!
@Peptide-geek from what I can tell, the CA risk are theoretical in nature and only if taken for an extended time. The 12 week course shouldn’t add any risk. On a side note, if thinking of starting any peptide for GH boost, your rat should get a pre IGF-1 level and then test again in 6-8 weeks to actually see if it is working. My rat bought tesa/ipa and saw a drop of 18 points from the previous levels on a pharmacy grade sermorelin. And a DEXA scan actually showed a sight increase in VAT from previous scans even though the rat lost weight and gained muscle from an extensive hypertrophy program with TRT. That tells me the tesa/ipa stuff the rat was getting was either not real or degraded badly. It came with a third party testing QR but obviously not up to par. VAT reduction is the one real thing the FDA proved tesamorelin works on, especially in a deficit with training.

[link text](link url)@mikebricker if an alcoholic quits drinking and then returns to drinking, typically all their issues will return too. The FDA tested HIV patients. Their condition remains after Tesa was removed. I am testing this theory with actual DEXA scans every three months. I’m on scan 3 and it hasn’t returned after being off the pharmacy grade peptide. 61 and I hypertrophy train 4 days a week and eat a surplus with optimum TRT and I’m holding. Time will tell.

Hi geek,
I get what you're trying to accomplish and trying to pick out your posts to find out what all you're taking right now. Are you on any weight loss pep(s)? Asking whether or not you're trying to lose weight as well as visceral fat? I've got Tesa in the freezer and not touching it; the possibly side effects and having a full-time job just won't work for me.
I went the Survodutide route, added to Tirz and it works. Just an alternate if you wish. If you're not on any weight loss peps, and if I had it to do all over again, I'd go with Semiglutide and Survo.
