Beyond the Scale: What Has Reta or Tirz Changed for You?
-
Before Reta, my eating was always a conscious decision. I had small binges that I justified as “cheat days,” which I always regretted.
On Reta, eating became effortless. It became more about nutrients than pleasure and comfort. The time I used to waste thinking about my next meal was spent focusing on what needed to be done.
Being able to dial anhedonia has been amazing. Compulsion has turned into control. The compulsive chatter has freed up a lot of space for what needs to be done. I’ve been more focused, productive, and healthier. I don’t remember ever being this aware of my health.
Reta became a gateway to more peptides, and the results snowballed into amazing outcomes. Am I the only one having a hard time convincing others that something that sounds “too good to be true” can actually be true with these compounds?

@EXTROPIAN The weight loss is awesome, but freeing up all that mental space that used to be occupied by food is something I don't think you fully understand until you experience it yourself.
The gateway comment hits home too
Reta started as weight loss for me and somehow turned into learning about metabolic health, recovery, mitochondria, cognitive peptides and everything in between. And YES to trying to explain it to other people.
You start listing everything you've personally noticed and halfway through you realize you sound like you're trying to sell them snake oil. Meanwhile you're sitting there thinking, “No seriously... this shit actually changed a lot more than my weight.”Here's to us rebels with a cause

Anyone microdose it without losing weight?
I recently asked our PCP this very question (she has been recommending tirz to her patients for more than 10 years), especially for anti-inflammatory and early type 2 diabetes control purposes for a family member.
She suggested - if no weight loss is needed - starting at a very low 0.25 mg once a week to see how it behaves. People's bodies are very different one from another, and she feels flexibility is needed.
She had a patient with a weight issue and rheumatoid arthritis that eventually settled on a 2.5 mg dose once a month. That dose relieved 90% of her RA symptoms, and pulled her life out of pain territory.
I am so thankful we found a practitioner with this kind of experience with tirz.

That's pretty incredible. Has anyone else heard/experienced anything similar?
Obviously a combo of both, but I wonder what % of the results are anti-inflammatory effects of the drug versus just sheer weight loss having a positive effect on RA.

Yes definitely - I have a friend that has an RA related autoimmune disease AS(Anklyising Spondlyosis) and is using it specifically for that - not for weight loss at all - started off at 2mg and is now on 1mg a week and it has relieved his symptoms immensely.
He has been on it for around 7-8 months now & says he’ll stay on it for life - just bought 5 years of it to keep in his freezer. -
@Ann-C tirz and RA hmmm suspicious. Kpv helps with flare up, but tirz while does help some inflamation i was on compounded tirz for 6 months still had flare uptil until kpv inj.
KPV. I can see that. I'm learning the hard way that KLOW and maybe some other peps I was cycling was a much bigger benefit than the Reta, Tirz, and Survo that I cycled. The GLPs systemic benefits are undeniable, but I believe for many of us the real magic is in the stacks.

@Juliano546 Just went to Target to get a small fridge. You know for what.

@bobs
How's your frig functioning? I'm wondering if I should try a different brand.
I have four thermometers in 2cu ft space and peptide placement has become an art.@mary oh, I got a $150 Whirlpool from Target with separate door for fridge and freezer to store reconstituted or premixed like Zepbound and lyophilized separately. I also got this thermometer from Amazon, a good product with 2 sensors:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0H8XYLKFK
I adjusted the lever to between 5 and 6 to have freezer in the range -5°F – +5°F and fridge 32°F – 36°F or so. It is easy to adjust having these sensors.
Maybe there are nuances about different sectors having slightly different temperatures, I am not as meticulous. The range is good enough for me. -

I have a Midea with 8C in the front and simultaneously -2C approx. 8 in. away near the back, so if not located properly, peptides will either be too warm or frozen. Temps will also fluctuate more since it is such a small space.
I didn't want a frig with a freezer, but I have one anyway, lol!
Whirlpool is probably as good as a small frig well get, so I might try that in a few months. Let me know if you start having problems with it.
