After my Dr recommended a total knee replacement I started researching alternatives. I’ve had Prolozone injections that are great for a couple of months. I saw a peptide video that said there’s evidence that glp1 regrows cartilage so I discontinued glp3 and started it. Cartalax is like a wonder drug, removes pain almost immediately. I’m also cycling mots, Klow, Wolverine, NAD+, BPC157 and aminos. I’m also taking collagen supplements and working out. Anyone else have experience dealing with this kind of issue? I’m looking for any advice to prevent surgery.

My understanding is that the glp3 hits 3 different receptors. I’m hoping that the glp1 will make a difference due to a larger amount of what works. I’m really hoping someone has some advice.

I hope you backed off reta slowly. There's lots of videos out there that say lots of things and, Dr's too.

My left knee has been achy the last couple years after a hip replacement on the same side that was done at 58 yoa, about 13 yrs. ago.

Some answers to questions are needed here:
          How old are you?
How long were you on weight loss peptides?
Did you lose weight? If so, how much?
          Are you doing resistance exercises?

That'll do for a start. I don't think anyone wants to give advice as much as they might 'suggest' some things but, need to know a bit more about your situation.

@timdavis how long have you been on GLP3? People have said that their knees feel better on all of the GLP's. I kind of don't think it matters much of which one you do, but the most effective ones will be GLP 1 or 2 because GLP 3 has glucagon and glucagon is not what helps the joints. But GLP three is mostly GIP, and if GIP is more effective than GLP, then perhaps GLP three could be the most effective. All that to say is, we don't know, and you could experiment to see which one makes your joints feel the best.

And you say that you use Cartalax? I just started using cardiac, but the injection has been pretty painful. Has that been the same for you? And you said that it has been working for you?

I’m 73 years old, I was on Reta for 4 months and tapered off for the last 30 days. I lost about 35 lbs and have recently started glp1 at a small dose. I try to do weight lifting at least a couple times a week and a couple days of flexibility and cardio. The Cartalax doesn’t bother me but the GHK CU can sometimes be painful. I inject them into the loose skin around the knee

Ouuuuch! I don't think I could handle that!
So now you're on GLP1? Semi? That's what I'm going to do eventually.

Are you on any forms of HRT? Hormones, notably testosterone, growth hormone and DHEA, are paramount to overall joint health.

Since you're 73, I'd start there, if you haven't already, before trying anything else.
