Watch on RandyTube: DIY Topical Peptide Serum with GHK-Cu + Snap-8 | Base, Mixing & Clean Handling (Video Tutorial)In this video we make a simple topical serum with GHK-Cu and Snap-8 for a fraction of what pre-made serums cost. It covers choosing a base, getting the peptides into it without wrecking them, keeping everything clean, and an optional roller for application. Patch test first.

@randy in the video you said half a gram but it looks like a lot less than that. Can you clarify?

You don't state how much Snap-8 you added in the video? 10mg? I have purchased Snap-8 bulk in a Lyophilized powder so not sure if I can add directly to the HA serum?

I did the math and it's about the same price to buy a pre-made GHK product relative to taking the DIY route.
A couple of differences:
- Knowing your GHK is "legit" when you make it yourself (controlling your sourcing)
- Controlling the amount of GHK in the finished product. Iirc Anela aims for ~3%, whereas standard formulations are a lot lower at 0.5 or 1%
- A lot of pre-made serums will have a more complex formulation that could be more beneficial to your skin
3.5) In some cases the formulation could be a turn off because it has too much
Here's the GHK product I used to compare to the DIY route: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C9DXGXZ3
Lmk if my math is wrong, I've been seriously contemplating making my own skin and hair serums for a while, but the math wasn't what I wanted it to be.

Randy motivated me and I have started making a few different types - all w/ ordinary HA base.
The first is a GHK-Cu night serum
Water, Sodium Hyaluronate
GHK-Cu 1.2%
Glycerin 3.3%
Propanediol 3.3%
Ectoin 1.0%
Panthenol 1.0%
Optiphen 1.0%
Allantoin 0.5%
Pal-150 0.027%
Snap-8 0.027%the second is morning serum
Timeless HA, Ectoin 2.5%, Panthenol 2.5%
Beta-glucan 1%, Glycerin 3%, Propanediol 2%
Allantoin 0.5%, Optiphen 1%, Syn-Ake 3mgThe third is an eczema serum which has been amazing w/ KPV
Timeless HA 30 mL
Ectoin 1.05 g (3.5%)
KPV 5 Γ ~12.65 mg vials (~63 mg, ~0.21%) via 0.10β0.15 g BAC each
GHK-Cu 0.09 g (0.30%)
Yeast Ξ²-glucan powder 0.06 g (0.2%)
Allantoin 0.06 g (0.2%)
Panthenol 0.30 g (1%)
Propanediol 0.82 g
Optiphen 0.21 gAll ingredients bought from supply houses. Hardest thing for me to get cheap is KPV in bulk.....any ideas?
