Peptide Storage Temperature

How about long term storage of lyophilized peptides?
Is a regular freezer ok at -14F or should I get an ultra low temp freezer that can get to -40F?
I'm thinking about storing bulk orders that I want to use over 1-2 years.

Fridge is fine for a few years. The issue with the freezer is the thaw cycle. The temperature shifts are what do in the compounds. I have a freezer sitting at -26 right now (remote monitored with redundancy) with a lifetime supply of my favorites in it.

Would a chest freezer work? Regarding the "thaw cycle"? Looking for a long term storage solution.

I am going to use them in the regular freezer. Supposedly once the temp is down they will hold it for about 20 hours or more. That should help with the normal freezer thaw cycle and minor fluctuations.
I could be completely wrong, but we all have to weigh cost vs reward. I considered buying a medical fridge, but not sure the peptides will last more than a few years even in there. I am still doing research on it… -

Yes but someone tested them , thermos and the ones I posted a link to. The Hydrapeak went from free freezing to >32 in under 3 hours. Themos lasted 5.5 hours. The ones I posted lasted about 24 hours I believe.
I already have the Hydrapeak, but not going to use them, I need more than 2 hours if I loose power -
