Glutathione (GSH) Subcutaneous Research Dosing Protocol

For research use only. Not medical advice.
Overview
Glutathione (GSH) is the body’s primary intracellular antioxidant, widely researched for oxidative-stress reduction, detoxification pathways, and cellular protection.
Subcutaneous administration is commonly used in moderate, recurring weekly doses.Weekly Dosing Protocol (Subcutaneous)
Standard Weekly Range
100–200 mg per injection
2–3× weekly
Typical weekly total: 300–600 mgThis provides sustained antioxidant support without oversaturating metabolic pathways.
Titration Schedule
Weeks 1–2 — Initiation Phase
100 mg per injection
2–3× weekly
Useful for assessing tolerance (rarely an issue with GSH).Weeks 3–8 — Maintenance Phase
300 mg per injection
3× weekly
This is the most common long-term research dosing pattern.Weeks 9–12 — Extended Phase
200 mg per injection
3× weekly
Continuation for prolonged oxidative-stress or detoxification-focused models.Frequency Options
Common research schedules:
3× Weekly (Most Popular)
Monday / Wednesday / Friday
Produces steady-state systemic antioxidant activity
2× Weekly
Used when a milder protocol is desired
Typically 200 mg twice weekly
Daily Micro-Dosing (Optional)
50–100 mg daily
Used in some dermatologic or oxidative-stress research models
Not required for standard systemic antioxidant protocols
Cycle Length
Typical GSH research cycles:
6–12 weeks, followed by
2–4 weeks off, if desired
Some researchers continue long-term without breaks due to excellent tolerability.
Common Research Notes
Subcutaneous GSH is generally well tolerated; mild warmth at the injection site is the most common reaction.
GSH stacks well with NAC, vitamin C, ALA, and mitochondrial-support protocols.
Effects tend to be subtle but cumulative — best evaluated over several weeks.
If used alongside peptides that increase oxidative load, GSH may reduce recovery time and improve subjective well-being.

This is the one i ordered…

I have Fuan 600mg gluta vials, do you think 3ml BAC is enough for it?
-
how much BAC do you usually use and for what concentration? First time researching Gluta.
-
I ordered some of the 2400mg Glutathione from Nexus Aminos along with their Glutathione Transport Bac Water. The Glut vials are TWENTY ML!

I'm not going to get away with a 5ml dilution of that am I?

Intention is to do 200-400mg pins. Greater dilution=2x,3x,4x pins per day to hit the desired dose. Decisions decisions...

When I looked into this... I found references to standard concentration for glutathione injections being ~200 mg/ml. When I ordered a 1500 mg bottle from Eternal Peptides (which the COA had at about 1650 mg) I chose to use 9 ml to reconstitute it. From a sting on injection point of view worked well for me. That said... I only used normal BAC water... very interested in trying the taurine enhanced bac water next time.

Hey @reinventing_hell, where did you buy Fuan gluta?

@peptidepete Does the Glutathione from Nexus Aminos come with a batch number on the vial so it can be linked to the COA?

Great question that I had not even considered. I will post an answer in four days when it arrives

i have not. Im one of the lucky ones where 10iu per mg of ghk doesnt bother me. any less and its questionable.

It does NOT come with any identifying numbers or codes, at all

-
@Randy so far my limit is 2.5mg with around 40-50u of extra bac water.
I preload them in a luer lock and add a 33g 8mm and works for me,
Do you think Taurine Bac will comprise GHK, i think its worth a test
