Just a quick one, I'm a newbie to all this, as far as dosing goes I noticed that the pens are mainly 60 units, so after reconstituted and I have put it in a pen cartridge is the 10 on the pen the same amount as the 10 on a 1ml syring.

    Thanks in advance

10 units is 10 units no matter what

So as not to spam the board with reconstitution threads, could I piggyback on this topic? I just want to make sure I'm understanding correctly. So I want to start 2.5 mg of Tirz. My vial strength is 20mg. So if I add 1mL BAC and I wanted to take my 2.5mL, I would draw 12.5 units, correct? Or for simplicity, I could only add .8mL of BAC to draw 10 units?

For GHK, I read that more BAC is generally recommended for less injection site issues? That sound accurate Randy? Thank you!!!

@yadungoofdd your math works. For GHK, the shots can burn quite a lot and the recommended solution (ha!) is to dilute further. I have found that some burn more than others, and my current batch from Verified Peptides doesn’t bother me much at standard (3ml/vial) dilution. The main issue is that if you want to dilute beyond the vial it comes in, you will need to load into pens or secondary vials. Or just draw more bac water into your syringe if you aren’t worried about vacuum or other things. It’s just a little more work.

@yadungoofdd Your math is correct... but 12.5 is a really awkward number of units to try to reliably inject. Were I you, I'd probably do 2 ml of bac water giving the resulting solution a concentration of:

            20 mg / 2ml = 10 mg/ml = 10 mg /100 units = 0.1 mg /unit

Then 25 units would give the desired 2.5 mg dosage.

As to GHKCU dilution - I can't recommend highly enough @randy 's video on the topic. Personally I tend to use the 20 ml vials @randy links to from his research supplies page to dilute my 50 mg GHKCU vials into 10 ml of water resulting in a:

            50 mg / 10 ml = 5 mg/ml = 5 mg/ 100 units = 0.05 mg /ml concentration

40 units then gives me a 2 mg dose.

I have also read that injecting slowly helps, and I have been doing that. It seems to help. But even a little dilution seems to make a difference.

What are the graduations ( in mL ) for choosing injection volume ?
I am hoping that the V2 pen is adjustable to 0.1mL volume differentiation.

Or are the V2 pen gradations in 'Units' assuming U-100 insulin ( 100units/mL )
Even Better if they can go down to 0.05mL accurately

Yes, the unit measure is the same. 10 units is .1 ml

@Bubba, the pens go down to 1 unit; not sure why you would want half a unit. Just double the back water when you reconstitute and use 1 unit. I think Jeff covered this on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=geNpx5sJH3k. Basically, if you use as little as 1 unit, the little drip at the end of the needle contains more peptide than if you were using 5 units. I normally reconsitiute things so i'm doing 10units....Unless it's GHK-CU or something that stings, then maybe 20 units.
