Best way to store peptides in the fridge (moisture control)?
-
Hey guys, what’s the best way to store peptides in the fridge so they don’t pick up moisture or anything like that?
I’ve seen in Jeff’s videos that people use something like a Thermo Hydrapeak for the freezer to prevent moisture/ice. Would you use something like that for the fridge too, or is a normal sealed plastic container enough?
Also, is it worth adding a desiccant, or is that overkill?
Sorry if this is obvious, just want to make sure I’m storing them properly.

I use Hydra peaks mainly for freezer(long term storage), but fridge works too for short storage, think it's up to a year. I recently picked up an Apache 1800 case(there are smaller ones) for $12.00. It's a weatherproof, dustproof case at Harbor Freight, seals nicely. Desiccant packets aren't overkill, it's recommended to keep the moisture out. Peptide critic sells a case as well, but I think they may be OOS. Amazon has an abundance of different cases too.
p.s. I'm not stalking you lol just happen to be looking at all the new posts

@WisGal64 no worries lol, I’m glad you are answering. I was also looking at some 3D printing cases that are going for less than $20 in Etsy. Idk if that’s okay since I believe they are not sealed or anything like that.

@RagnatLothbrok For fridge storage I just bought a cheap $20 case on amazon that can hold like 10 vials of various sizes and a few needles, etc. I put some silica packets in there too. Easy peasy.

@gym.rat Nice! Do you store Lypholised and reconstituted in the same place?

@RagnatLothbrok Yes because it's not long term storage. If you are going to store for longer than say months (looking at years), then you need a proper storage medium for the freezer and Randy has a video about this on his YT.

@gym.rat Got u! So I guess I’ll buy one of those 3D cases off Etsy which look pretty good.
