Initially, I liked EZ touch, but then the last case I ordered the needles were awful, majority dull, came from diabetic warehouse. Since then I've tried Comfort EZ and SureComfort, 30g 8mm. Barrel sliding not as smooth as EZ but they are workable. Needles are sharp. I was using 31g but bent so many needles that I switched to 30g. Between the 2, I think they are pretty close, but Comfort EZ wins for me. Better pricing than EZ touch as well at ADW Diabetic. Case of .5ml for $50 and case of 1ml for $57. Plus they send 10 - 14% discount codes to me quite often, so that helps 🙂

Anything that’s polished and silicone lubricated. The ones that drag and pull the skin on the way out are what I end up with bruises on. I liked EZ Touch until they went to crapolla post covid. I liked BD Ultra Fine but they stopped shipping to my state. My fallback is 31g 8mm UltiCare VetRx.

Looks like we all agree on the 5/16 or 8mm, 30-31 gauge.
            I'm a big fan of the .3cc.
Huge price jump for the Clever Choice Comfort EZ in that size.

Gluco-care 33g+ from Amazon, although these days I've gotten so used to needles that pm anything 30g+ seem to do the trick. Even the cheap aliexpress ones.
Depending on injection site, prefer 4mm if using a syringe and 4-6mm if using a pen.
Pens seem to leak more after removing from skin tho so sticking to syringes looks like the way to go

Since switching to a pen, I don't want to use the disposable needles. The needle tips are so much better, in my opinion.

What is the philosophy/consensus around syringes lengths, and when to use shorter vs longer needle? Would you choose a different length depending on the amount of units you are injecting, say a small 15 units, vs a larger 35-40 units?

I recently picked up some 4mm needles and have been enjoying them, but did get a large bruise in the lower stomach after one injection of MOTS-C, 20 units if I recall.

@afkar7 Yes, often even more than that. Drives me crazy.
