Why don't all vendors and testing labs put vial pics on their COAs? This community has select vendors verified and backed by @randy but for any other vendor - this is a glaring loophole to recycle COAs without testing each batch and just slapping the same old bath ID on new ones without testing.

All labs should put vial pics on COAs to avoid COA recycling. I know people will say there can be two batches back to back with same vial cap colors, but that's an infrequent possibility.

    WDYT?

On one hand, my thought is, at least they are not hiding it for those who do include the pic, but on the other, they are boosting prices, claiming they do their own testing, many of the vendors are just the basics, M/P/C. I'm guessing the Labs are getting paid to change the company name on the recycled CoA(YES I said it). Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm leaning toward being closer to the truth at this point

Peter from Janoshik confirmed they'll reissue COAs with different company names if the original testing company requests it.

Game theory problem: One vendor opens sister storefronts, gets COAs reissued under new names while product batches keep changing. This creates massive loopholes.

So then you start thinking maybe regulatory oversight has benefits, but then you see the current regulators are complete sellouts--which is why the RUO market exploded.

Finally it feels like we're back to primitive survival: community-based trust and shared knowledge are the only safeguards. 😂

@WisGal64 Like the infamous JEEP endotoxin meltdown, unless one is in close-knit RUO communities, it would be impossible for a newbie or outsider to know the chaos and avoid the problem.

💯 Agreed. I found this community through Jeff's YouTube videos. I found them very insightful especially about peptide gelling and misconceptions etc. I also liked that he allows discussions of all vendors including greys. It's good to get holistic perspective.

Ive ordred tests from vanguard, AFI, Jano, Freedom and Trustpointe in the last week. The photo is an option. Doesnt cost more (they used to with jano). They may just not check the box or it may be something more nefarious.

I like pictures of vials as an added risk mitigation when vetting potential vendors and sources. I also like how places like Nexaph help foster a super active community on TG that handle 3rd party testing.
