Hi all. Thinking about getting a Nimbot but there are so many different model numbers. So if you were starting today with labeling, which would you pick? This would not be for a large amount of labels, like a kit here and there. Thanks.

If you want basic and simple the b21. Doesn’t require ribbon tape and doesn’t require a microchip in the roll to operate, so you can use other brand labels.
This discussion you may find helpful as to what models get you what features.

I have the B21 and I like it a lot. Not as fancy as the B2, but like MyB says, it is a bit more flexible. It does what I need it to do.

Please set a funny and sarcastic signature line. It brings me joy. Thank you for your attention in this matter.

The reason the B2 is so much cheaper than the B21 is to make it more appealing to the uneducated buyer. With the B2 you are locked into Nimbot only labels that require a thermal ink ribbon. Spending a little more up front and being able to use any label that fits in the machine is worth the extra IMO. You just won’t have multiple ink options and holographic labels as options. Simpler is sometimes better I say , but you make have a creative flare that wants all them bells and whistles.
