Found this insulin travel electric cooler marked down. Most well are over $100. This one is $87. Being delivered today. I’ll update how well it works.

Looks interesting. How do you like it so far? How many vials does it hold?

Just got done testing it for a review today. The amount of vials??. I’m not sure. It does hold 10 pens, and that’s what I see most researchers travel with.
It’s only Celsius. I tested at 6°C and it held 42°F and I tested it at 0°C which ended up being 37°F. In a 24hr period the low was 37° and the high was 39°. Works great when plugged in. It’s a USB-A plug.
It’s thermoelectric so the battery life will be 2-6 hours depending on ambient temp and humidity. You could run it off an external usb power supply so that’s a bonus.

I'm interested in your feedback as well. Soon I'll be moving from Texas to the surface of the sun (Arizona) and that drive will require something like this.

Just checked. It’ll hold at least 60 3ml vials standing up.

It has enough room for 10 pens and at least 6 3ml vials. Maybe more with offseting.

When I first plugged it in at 30 minutes it had only dropped 10 degrees, but at 1hr it was down to temp. Pre chilling would be a must before transferring research materials.

I just looked at the product and battery is supposed to be 8 hours. Plus it can be charged by USB in a car, so I may need to get me this.
