So for us who suffer from hoarding and fomo, what's the general rule of thumb on the maximum amount to keep in a freezer?
My main stash is tirz. Low dose. I've got 7 vials from compounding in the fridge and 21 in the freezer. Overkill?

Are they powder still? The reconstituted as received from the compounded pharmacys I've seen were good for up to 90 days at best (depending on the preservative used)? Will 7 last that long in the fridge?

@markgroce I should have clarified. Yes, the ones in the freezer are lyophilized powder. The compounding vials in the fridge come from a pharmacy already mixed. The ones I have are from a 503B pharmacy with a 1 year best use by date (BUD). The 503A pharmacies generally have the 90 day BUD. I've read several accounts from others that have used previously unopened vials that were a year past their BUD with little or no change in efficacy. I will use these well before that time frame. You just have to check and make sure the solution is still clear with nothing floating in them. Yes it's a risk, but isn't just about all of this?

Just tested reta I have had stored in the hydrapeaks in the freezer for 8 months. They came 99.9% purity, no trace of endotoxins. Bottom line looks like "don't freak out too much".

Anyways, I'm working on the design of a "Researcher end to end bundle of 3D printable accessories" which have all these nuances in mind.

Okay here is my thought process, keep an extra hydropeak at room temperature. When you want to open the hydropeak that's in the freezer, have the room temperature one standing by ready and open then get the one in the freezer, pull out the inserts, pop em in the room temperature hydropeak, and pop it back into the freezer. Next time, repeat the process as the one that was in the freezer will then be room temperature. And this should avoid condensation.

To prevent the condensation that forms when you open your frozen hydropeak. Am I completely overthinking this? Is a little bit of condensation built up inside the hydropeak ok? It seems every time I open mine it looks like a very tiny bit of frost on the metal portion develops. I am currently adding to my supply, so i've had to open the container a couple of times.

Condensation in the hydrapeak is not the major challenge; condensation in every single vial and inserts is.

I keep long term in my chest freezer, in a 32oz hydrapeak with silica trays top and bottom of the 3d printed vial holders. I have another for working product in the fridge. Smaller 18oz unit with 4 3d printed vials that hold silica. When I pull from long term storage, I open both containers as close to the bottom of the freezer as possible, which avoids the temp shock and moisture issues (they don't fog up anyway). I transfer what I need and reseal everything before removing. I also keep my long term storage container in a small foam cooler to avoid temp swings during defrost cycles, that also has a few ice packs to help if needed.
