@kristal I'm going to start using my breather needles. they are very small 30g x 1/2 inch and they are luer lock. They fit my 3 and 5ml syringes.

@kristal FYI, I just reconstituted some Cartalax using breather and it's too small. Stick with a bit bigger needle. Filter had a hard time with it and I was real careful but not worth the effort or chance of breaking it.

These are what I use for reconstitution and breather needles, a 25Ga-1 1/2in needle and a 30Ga-5/16in.

I like the 31 ga 1-1/2” version for loading pens. It lets me get every drop out of the vial and is a tiny puncture in the cart.

Yes, it is a very slow draw so you have to be patient.

Please set a funny and sarcastic signature line. It brings me joy. Thank you for your attention in this matter.

Yeah, testosterone sucks with a 31. But it is what it is...

My I ask what you use for testosterone? I'm looking at getting away from where I get my injections. I pay $600 for three months.

                Hi,
just used a 3ml syringe for first time when drawing bac water/reconstituting and when i inserted into the vial the plunger dropped expelling the bac into the vial at a way faster rate than i usually reconstitute.
A small amount of bubble appeared but dispersed almost immediately.
Sorry for the stupid question but is that why breathers are used, to reduce vacuum pressure? and would the rapid rate/bubbles affect the quality of my research results?

@matthew the breather is for filling pen vials.
People who claim to be experts will tell you introduce bac slowly and run it down the side of the vial. Peptides aren’t as fragile as some people say. Your research material is most likely fine.

Peptides are only as good as your Bac Water

@matthew Surprised me the first time too; has quite a pull to it. Even though some people don't mind the fast fill, I hold that plunger somewhat in place and slow it down. If you didn't insert a breather needle to the side of where you're placing your 3ml syringe needle, give that a try; it won't stop the plunger from dispensing but makes it easier.
