BAC water. 0.9% or more?
-
Unless you want injection site issues and irritation I wouldn't go over the suggested .9%. But Ph is also a problem if not correct. Why not just purchase BAC? There are alternatives to hospira. Lamda being a good one.
@Newenough lots of people making their own. It’s not for me but simple enough and super cheap. Sterile water and pure benzyl alcohol at .09pct. Easy peasy. Also most Sterile water is PH’d to 5.5 to 5.7 so no changes are necessary. I have looked into manufacturing it it’s so damn simple. The issue is the hype and hysteria around Hospira and people can post any nonsense about another brand to kill it because they have bought into the Hospira hype and hoard the water.
I also looked into selling Hospira for sh*T’s and goggles you can source it for $5 and sell it for $15. Nice business and you can buy a pallet easily with a state license. Just don’t want to flood the market so you can keep the price nice and high for a consumer base that will stay up till 3am to save a couple of bucks, buy crypto to complete the transaction and post how lucky they are. Yes, that’s me.

Why would you want to go maximum limit? You should be going minimal limit.
I'm TOLD .03 is when growth is seen and .05 is considered safe... I'VE never personally experimented with it and would be interested in some studies... -
Agreed. I make my own as well on occasion, just wanting to point out safe alternatives before resorting to that.
@Newenough So I got BAC water from China as an add-in. I posted this somewhere else on here. But I did a non scientific test and left it on my porch in Florida for a couple of weeks and it stayed clear, no particles or growth. I tested TDS and it was 0 and PH which tested fine. I have lab grade equipment. So my intuition says it's probably fine but not worth testing it doesn't make financial sense.

@Stevepep if you don't mind revealing your raw material, where and which sterile water are you getting?

Because I've thought of exactly this. I want to be liberated from Hospira hype and price gouging.

@pep_researcher I have not done this, but I know someone who purchases lab grade sterile water at Grainger by the gallon for like $40 from lab chem. I believe they got the benzyl alcohol from there as well.

lab grade sterile
I think that's sterile water for "irrigation". Technically not the same grade as pinning one, but yeah it's still better than random BAC from online vendors or samples sent with greys. Irrigation one is sterile and nonpyrogenic. So your contact has thought on the same lines as me.

@pep_researcher Ya I have no idea about this. I haven't done the research its totally second hand
