Should I Really Research Pinealon If Sleep Is Not A Problem?
-
I just started it last Friday (for sleep). I've been taking it in the morning. I don't know if it's due to lack of sleep at night, to much caffeine in the morning, or too much sun, but I've been getting sleepy during the afternoon. Fortunately work has been slow today the naps have not been fought.

Like I said I just started this past Friday. My point was that I'm not quite sure yet if it's the Pinealon making me sleepy or something else. Naps are not the sleep i'm looking for. Quite the opposite. I'm looking for better sleep at night so my old a$$ won't want take naps. But I just wanted to let you know my initial observations/experience regarding sleepiness during the day by taking it in the AM. I think it's still too early regarding observations on mental clarity.

@Nuncles I understand. I'm just trying to find a way around that, maybe mid afternoon but IDK. In my case, I sleep well because I fight taking a nap; doesn't work for everyone but so far, works for me. When the Lyme Disease was very active, I had a terrible time with sleep. Now, I tend to get a bit sleepy after lunch but that wears off. Please keep in touch with me on this; I'd like to know how you do and hope you can make it work and sleep well.

Pinealon didn't make me sleepy at all. That's not what it does. It's more on the REM sleep side and is responsible for some wild dreams according to anecdotal evidence. I highly recommend taking upon waking up and going outside to get some morning sun. I did a full write up on it and realized what I got wrong during my first experiment. Second go around was much more effective: https://peptideprotocols.app/peptides/pinealon

Ah, it was you! I thought I saw a protocol someone had written; the morning sun I remembered. I'll read carefully bc if the dreams are too wild, I can't take that. The link leads to a site. Can you tell me what you did the 2nd time that worked for you? I did a search on this site for Pinealon and didn't see it; saw everything else. Got the link?
Much thanks to you!

@stevepep Randy posted on another thread that he really noticed it at 2mg so I'm assuming he went with the higher dosage protocol. I'm doing the peptide dosages protocol of 1, 1.5. and 2 for 20 days.

I'm using that protocol also, but leery of starting w/1mg.; I always half doses of just about everything. If this gives me slight headache and crazy dreams, I need to be real careful. Going to start on July 3 and go through long weekend, if all goes well.
@randy Where are you?!

@gym.rat that protocol shows a far lower dose than anywhere else I have seen. Is this what you used ? Some suggest 5mg a day. This says .5 or 500MCG. Does anyone have a recommended protocol they saw results with
@Stevepep The rule of thumb should always be start low and go slow. You honestly don't need that much. I found that morning dosing was the key vs evening (my first mistake). 5mg is totally absurd. Just waisting product and or maybe (unlikely) hurting yourself. Whenever I start using something new I always want to find the lowest possible dose to get the desired effects. Keep in mind Pinealon won't make you tired. If thats the goal, then Epitalon is your horse and I'm a big fan of that peptide. Worked wonders for my circadian rithym and did so after my very first dose. One of my favorite peptides at this point.
