Protocol, a Research Management iOS App: Looking for perspective
-
I thought about making an app that payment processes and buys from grey all in one function. So cash buyer with say 5 percent vig. ship details>convert to crypto>anonymously forwards shipping details and then droppshipped from vendor. Confirmation email gets sent to original buyer. All information once completed gets nuked. If we have to test all kits anyways. And want the cheapest price. And we know from several blogs whos the reliable sources. Call it middleman or some shit.

@stevepep Yep, been using it since my research start. Excellent app. I even helped him test an Android glitch a couple of versions back. I just like to poke fun at those that only mention iOS, as if there is no other mobile operations systems.
I don't want to take this thread in a different direction from the creator. Back to you sir, and good luck with the app.

Hey all,
I've only been in the peptide scene a few months, but PeptideCritic was the first place I landed, so I wanted to open it up here.
I’ve been building an iOS app called Protocol (https://theprotocolapp.co).
It's a "research management and inventory app" that I made for myself, because I wanted a specific daily experience.
I’m primarily looking for people who will actually use it and give honest feedback: what feels useful, what’s confusing, what’s missing, what’s overbuilt, and what would make it better for daily use.
If you’re interested, DM me and I'll give you the PeptideCritic group link - as opposed to the public one - so that I know who I'm supporting when you submit feedback and such. Or just visit the public website (https://theprotocolapp.co) and sign up for beta access there.
Thank you!!
Protocol is an information tracking tool, not medical advice or treatment guidance.
@Splinter I'm in. Just requested access

So what are you tracking with this app? Is it just what you take, when you take it and where you take it?

Thanks for asking @commander
It's those things yes, but also solves for a number of concerns that have popped into my head so far:
- "How many MG is left in my GLP pen?"
- "I want to make a custom Protocol, and Share it with my buddy/subscribers. (Export/Import .ORP file format)"
- My fav influencer just came out with a new Protocol, I'm going to import the .ORP into my own Protocol app so I can run it without typing anything!
- What's my current blood serum level of Tirz? What about Test-C?"
- I know I tweaked the value, but how much did I dose yesterday?
- "Calculators are repetitive, just automatically tell me the MG and IU I'm supposed to take."
- "What peptides do I actually have in storage? And where are they located and how old?"
- "I only want to pin KLOW in my glutes, so don't suggest anywhere else."
- "I just found this doctor who I want to send my history too, let me export this CSV of my entire dose history."
- "I'm trying to log a dose, but the last vial is empty. Good thing the app has a setting to automatically-reconstitute the next vial at the last vial's measurements!"
- And a number of others.
Here's the thing: Apps in the App Store exist as they are. You can complain in a review, but that's about it.
I am building this app right now, and you have the opportunity to shape it so it fits your needs too!

A friend commented: "No one wants to type in all their Compounds, you need to add a list of all the common ones." And because I agreed, in an hour or two I had a new build up to her with a drop down.
What I'm hoping to do now in the process is hear the questions and asks that YOU all have or want out of an/this app, and then build the product around that

So thank you for your question!
