Cheap Amazon Finds

I’m in the Amazon review program called V I N E. (Had to put spaces because it’s against TOS to tell anyone publicly). I often see things when they are new and discounted to encourage sales. Anyway, I thought I’d make this topic to post my finds instead of putting them in the swag topic I usually do.
These insulated storage containers are $9.99. Usually they run $15-$20.

I've found using a number of smaller ones for each pep works. Well.
I do the same as well.
Why have all your eggs in the same basket, is my theory. Why disturb peptide “A, B, & C” when you need to pull “D” from storage.
I have different colored ones too, to help identify. I also use round flat ice packs (sold for nursing mothers) as a cold bank for more consistent temperature control.
I’m really fond of these little guys. -

I keep my vials in one of those cases of various sizes and colors. The foam keeps the cold air while I take them out.

Why do I need these? I have a zip up case that will hold all my vials and keep it in the fridge once reconstituted? So, why do I need multiple portable ones? If the answer is for traveling, when I am traveling, I put my large case in a cooler with freezer packs and transfer to my condo fridge when I arrive; or for my work day in the office, my cooler zip up case that holds just what I need during the day.
I think these look cool, but I am trying to see the actual need for them if you don't mind. Are these in lieu of the zip up vial storage units?Not trying to be a jerk in any way, I assure you. Thank you! And of course, anyone else, please respond.

I use a zip up case for my larger or 10mL vials because they don't fit well in the thermos style. I chose the thermos style to protect against temperature fluctuations in my fridge and longer protection in case of power failures. Everyone has their own system. -
@djoelcassell i buy multiple kits at a time. They get put in these for holding til test results are received. They get labeled and transfer to the freezer for long term storage. If you store in a frostless freezer these are needed to protect your vials from the temperature change from when the self defrost cycle runs. You always store these with desiccant packets because moisture is the enemy. No zip up soft case keeps out moisture.

@myb I had bought some inserts for the 10ml (holds 8-10ml and 4-3ml) but my 10 ml vials were too wide for them. The cases with the foam stretch so that's where they went. The 10ml inserts almost seems like a waste of space now. I will need the space after these 4th of july sales. I was keeping everything in the fridge for convenience, but I may have to resort to saving some kits in the closet.

For those of you who purchased this (or I guess even those who didn't purchase), what are your thoughts on the sponge that came with it to protect the top vials? Do you think it will retain moisture, even with silica packs?

Good question. I didn't even think about that. Just loaded mine in when I got it. Now that I think about it I would doubt it. Its seems like highly porous foam.
