My rat was on Tirz for 8 mos, dose got up to 9mg's a week plus was stacking Cagri and or Survo, lost 40 lbs, switched to (just) Reta, lost another 10 pounds in the last few months. I'm traveling to a country I'm not comfortable bringing grey to for about a month. They are VERY strict. I have a prescription for Zepbound and some Zep vials so I'm okay bringing that. The plan is to switch back to Tirz for the trip, then decide what I want to do from there. Currently on 8mg's Reta and have about 2 months before my trip.
I know when we went from Tirz to Reta I had to start the Reta at a very low dose (2mg's) even though we were used to 9mg's Tirz. I understand that, as you are hitting a new receptor. But when switching from Reta, back to Tirz, do I need to start all the way down at 2.5mg's or should I be able to handle more, like 5mg's, I'm not hitting new receptors but realize the amt's are different.
How did you do it? What did your schedule look like? Did you Titrate one up and the other down or just switch? Any surprise side effects?
    Cheers!

I’d try starting over a see what happens. If after 3 days you don’t feel like it’s working try another 2.5mg. It’s always worth trying to restart low and slow.

I lost 67 lbs in 8 months on Tirz. I began having really bad injection site reactions to Tirz. I switched to Reta in March. It has not had the appetite suppression I was used to. So I went from Reta back to Tirz last week. I was on 8 mg of Reta. I went to 2.5 of Tirz. The appetite suppression was crazy good! It is making me think I might just stay on Tirz. My injection site reactions is still there for about 4 days, but I am using ice packs to stop the crazy itching and that has really helped me.

I went from 2.5 Ozempic to 5 of tirz (mounjaro) with no trouble.. i don't think you need to start over at the two point five milligrams.

@geauxtigers.va try adding more BAC water to dilute it more. Also inject very slowly to decrease the histamine response.
