    Not a peptide but the biggest change in my lab rat energy levels was from supplementing CoQ10. I happened across this recently when I was looking into it for one of my subjects circulation issues. I always try to thoroughly educate myself on the mechanisms of any new supplement or peptide so I know how they interact with current regimens. I had no idea how many areas of the body this enzyme affected.

    Coenzyme Q10 is a primary antioxidant made by the body naturally but it is common to develop a deficiency. This can be due to inflammatory or autoimmune disorders, certain meds like statins, poor diet and aging. Your cells require coQ10 to make energy. A deficiency disrupts your mitochondria & makes it hard for your body to create adenosine triphosphate ATP, which is the basic fuel for all your cells. I dont want to bore anyone with all the details but if your subjects fatigue is persistent & associated with other symptoms like muscle aches, brain fog & poor stamina or exercise intolerance, you might want to try supplementing CoQ10. You will likely see improvements within a couple weeks.

    Keep in mind that most forms of COQ10 arent well absorbed so you need one that is fat & water soluble. There are also 2 forms of COQ10 called ubiquinone and ubiquinol and they are not the same. Ubiquinone is the oxidized form, which requires your body to convert it into a usable form. After doing some comparisons, I decided on liposomal ubiquinol (Qunol brand currently). Dosages for fatigue range usually 100-300mg a day. My research showed improvement on 100mg twice a day.

      @brithus I had to take COQ10 to prepare for my fertility treatments. So did my husband. I didn't notice a change in energy at the time but I wasn't focused on that. Maybe I'll give that a go. Thank you!

      Just someone with a fridge full of research and a browser history that would concern my doctor.

        I use CoQ10 to replenish it because a statin I use blocks its production in the liver. I use "MicroActive CoQ10 Enhanced with MicroPQQ + Shilajit", it seems legit to me.

        attentiion is all you need

          I have used tons of coq10, from qunol brand to bulk supplements. Qunol being bottom of barrel. I use this form and brand as part of my mitochondrial OTC

            I've titrated up to 250mgx3 a week - felt nothing
            I've tried 100mgx7 a week - nada
            Back to 250m... still nothing!
            At this point I'm just doing 100x3 a week because it's SUPPOSED to have other effects than energy.

            Done the Mots, no energy spikes there either, I dunno, the sleep peps don't work on me either. It's my super power... I just need to figure out a way to fight crime with it then I can wear a cape and underwear on the outside without people thinking I'm strange.

            @Stan-Douglas
            Try 100mg NAD+ IM
            I get a lot better results with the IM injections. May make you a little queasy or give you a head rush, but you should feel it.

              @BeeKind Only one way to find out. Pinch, pin a pray. Start low and titrate up til you feel the sweet spot. Sweet spot is a where it feels right to you without tolerating it. I would start with 10mg and titrate up. If it is from a good source you should feel something energy kick in. My sweet spot is still 10-20mg still. At time I add a little more depending how demanding my day will be. If your source is good and you still dont feel anything. You might have correct your mitochondria. If youre all in MotsC .500mcg, NAD 10mg, SS31 500mg will get them engines running and repair. Just to rule out results and /or any allergic reaction. If youre good then titrate up by 500mcgs or 1mg til it feels right (The sweet spot). Like coffee, sometimes, one cup is enough. Just be patient.

              @EXTROPIAN
              500mg of SS-31 a day? I think you made a typo…

              Please excuse my typos. Small Phone & Bad Eyes

                My cat/rat is struggling with energy and I'm interested in NAD+ but I'm finding dosing protocols all over the place. Can someone point me in the direction to help my research?
                Is Mots-c or something else better?

                @BeeKind I started because the day after Reta was brutal with fatigue. I titrated up quickly to 50mg daily - two weeks to sort of flood the zone (as if getting an IV drip). I just backed down to day of and day after reta (which I'm dosing every third day). Totally made me feel normal. But it's not an energy shot for me, just a quiet return to normal if that makes any sense.
