    Dear Eleanor,

Thank you for your email and for your interest in our Bacteriostatic Water products.

Firstly, I apologise for the delay in responding to your enquiry, and thank you for your patience.

The current batch of our Bacteriostatic Water 30 mL (10-Pack) has an expiry date of February 2028, providing an excellent remaining shelf life.

As requested, I have attached the following documents for your reference:
    Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)
Certificate of Analysis (COA) for the current production batch
Certificate of Analysis (COA) for our next incoming batch, which is expected to arrive within the next couple of weeks.

Regarding your question about pH, I noticed you mentioned that you were hoping for a pH close to 5.5.
Our current production batch has a tested pH of 6.26, which is well within the USP specification of 4.5–7.0 and is closer to neutral. The pH value can be found in the attached Certificate of Analysis for your review.

We take product quality very seriously. In fact, we are proud to be the number one supplier of bacteriostatic water in Australia, with thousands of satisfied customers. For your confidence, I have also attached the Certificate of Analysis for the same batch currently being supplied throughout Australia, demonstrating the same quality standards and testing.

We currently supply Bacteriostatic Water in the following vial sizes:
    10 mL
    20 mL
    30 mL

These are available as individual vials and multi-pack configurations. If you are considering purchasing larger quantities, we would be happy to discuss your requirements and provide volume pricing where applicable.

Should you require any further information, including manufacturer details, product specifications, sterility testing, or additional quality documentation, please don't hesitate to contact me. I would be more than happy to assist.

Thank you again for your enquiry. We appreciate the opportunity to assist you and look forward to hearing from you.

I can't get the MSDS to upload, file too big. Will work on it later. Note the pH is 6.26, which MIGHT be problematic for a couple of peptides, but not many. You can save your Hospira for those.

@randy If you think this is a serious contender, let me know and I'll get you a pack of 30ml for testing.

Warehouse here in Houston. 10 pk of 30ml roughly $14 per vial. They are selling out fast too, so I'm going to grab a pack.

What?? Why would you buy that? Regular H BAC is $20.

Unless this is $5 or less, I would pass.

@pep_researcher If you read the email I posted, he said they would encourage group buys at discounted prices. I for one would like to get in on such buys. Others might not.

Hospira might be $20 now but it seems clear that won't be the case for long.

Make of it what you will.

What this Hospira announcement tells me is that you're going to be looking at a MINIMUM of $30 for 30ml vial...Minimum. There will be little bargaining for large buys, as they have so many huge contracts already.

@Eleanor Yeah but I have a hunch having read about Hospira cycles that this is temporary.

Of course it's always good to be prepared with alternatives. I have created my own home brewed Ghetto BAC alternative although I have enough H BAC to survive this famine. Hehe

@pep_researcher Based on your hunch? Well I have a hunch this could be a permanent rise in price, or at least, an extended one. I'll go the pack if @randy and a couple of others want to pitch in and have it tested. That's all I know to do.

On this site, there are groups of people that will go all the way to frickin' China for a deal, wait for God knows how long for it to arrive, pay to have it tested and won't even consider making a deal of sorts with a company that provides much, if not all of Australia with BAC, freely submitted test papers to me within an hour of request, office based in U.S., free shipping over an amount that seems reasonable,...keep going here.

Why should Pfizer lower their price on this? Why would such a corporation make it temporary in any way? Remember the email said IT'S A PFIZER DECISION, NOT A BACKWATER DECISION. Okay, maybe they're bullshitting. I don't have time to wait and find out and I'm betting others don't either.

BAC USA might at least be able to cut into the cost of using Hospira for much of the peptides, reserving their expensive Hospira BAC for just a few that MIGHT BE sensitive to pH, if that's the concern.

We're being held hostage of our own free will and I personally don't like it. I'm suggesting that a REAL move be made to encourage competition, because I'm a capitalist pig, proud of it and it's immediately the best way to go.

@Eleanor Someone posted this on another forum. If @randy could pitch in about their authenticity or test this out anonymously his way. They provide COAs that theoretically look solid - pH, BA content, endotoxins and sterility.

Although IMO even their pH is quite high > 6. Hospira or cell lab sterile water is around 5.5.

By all means, let's put it all on Randy; his effort, his cost, etc. COA says the pH is 6.253...

@Eleanor I think you got me wrong. Maybe text doesn't convey tone. I'm not fighting with you. I was just creating more alternatives.

Sorry if it came across as fighting with you.

@pep_researcher why do you think 6 is high the standard is under 7 for injectables. Could it effect the peptides the difference between 5.5 and 6 is pretty small?

That one actually looks great. Good lab too

Warehouse here in Houston. 10 pk of 30ml roughly $14 per vial. They are selling out fast too, so I'm going to grab a pack.

I just bought a case of Hospira for $11.50 a bottle. Why would anyone pay more than $5 a bottle. And you still need to have it tested!!!

The ideal and regulatory-approved pH for Sterile Water for Injection, USP, is 5.5, with an acceptable physiological range of 5.0 to 7.0. It is intentionally kept slightly acidic because unbuffered water rapidly absorbs carbon dioxide from the air, forming carbonic acid.

I understand that… so they can buy singles - Nothing has changed. But do you think the places selling the singles are buy signals or are they buying cases? Cases… and people are still selling singles for $20. So I don’t understand what all the complaining is about. The people buying cases should only be the ones complaining because they are making less money selling the singles not.
All this complaining started when Amazon stopped selling BAC and you could no longer get Hospira off of Amazon for $15 delivered. So let me ask the question. Did amazon stop selling Hospira because people were buying 2 and 3 cases at a time from medex?
And guess what for anyone to buy single vials of Hospira from a vendor and the Vendor to have stock to sell it - they have to buy a bunch of cases at a time. But maybe they are the reason the price went up? Besides Vendors, not to many people have $550 at a clip to buy a couple cases at a time… the few people that do. Have the money to stock up did not cause the price increase.
Amazon’s choice to stop selling BAC and the sheer amount of people that are buying peptides on the last couple of years is the reason the price shot up. Anyone crying it is people buying it and hoarding it is sadly mistaken… Blame Amazon- that is when this mess started.

You have a unique situation where you group buy with people in your inner circle. That is terrific, and I wish I had a similar situation. Many people can't afford to drop $500 on two cases of water with benzyl alcohol in it. You have to be cognizant of that in your posts. Not everyone is in your situation financially or with a group to share the costs.

The Amazon situation was great for the vendors who sell it because Amazon keeps a third. Did they lower their prices to order directly? Hell no. It led people to believe that Hospira's holy water would disappear and there was no alternative, so the hurricane warning ensued.

The bigger issue is the reactions to these announcements by the people who benefit from them. People take the hurricane approach to this and clear the shelves for absolutely no good reason. Also, their choice. Hell, I am guilty of it. I love Reta, and when someone's rat whose name rhymes with Sandy suggested it may disappear, I bought 3 years' worth. Since then, the manufacturing and testing have improved substantially. Reta is now close to 100pct consistently.

The worst part of all of this is that a large group of people think that their Hospira holy water will be just fine months or years after the expiration date, which is an absolute fallacy. The degradation process doesn't work that way, The alcohol doesn't just disappear in a closed environment. It causes things to break down. Does it happen the day after the expiration date? No, but it certainly happens within a year. If there is less alcohol content, there is a cause and effect. It pretty simple stuff, actually

Yes Medex has raised their price $90 in the last 3 months. And that sucks for the resellers. But there are good vendors that barely raised their prices on singles. Unfortunately shipping costs what it cost for these vendors to ship you 1 vial - no way around that.
But what was everyone doing before when they were buying singles of Hospira? And if it waent from $10 + Shipping to $20 + shipping, although that is double it isn’t a huge deal at all… if you go through 1 bottle a month, that is less than a $10 increase a month to you. Go to the gas station and you have that increase sometimes in just one tank of gas.
My WHOLE point is the big price increase really only affects the people that actually buy cases of it. But $10 a month, if that breaks someone they shouldn’t be buying peptides at all…
And again where was everyone getting it before? I just don’t understand why people who buy singles are crying…
And if it becomes unavailable in the future it will be unavailable to everyone, not just people that buy singles..
