Right. It’s correcting the metabolic pathway that leads to all the bad 💩

Follows research backed science, not the gym bro’s.

Makes sense to me via another pathway. The body heals itself that is what it mostly does. You are a balance of collection of cells *healing and *dying. You cut yourself and heals. Now imaging the level healing is doing through out your body in a day, week, year? They say most cancers start off as pockets of stored toxin in your body. Long enough those pocket of toxins start to oxidate and it contaminates the cells around it. The shit show begins. Your body is now trying to contain what ever the cancer has turned to. ATP down the the drain. Adding inflation like firefighters using water and cutting off circulation. That is why when you loose inflammation you loose that weight in water. And you keep feeding it those toxins just trying to survive till the next meal. NAD depleted, storing more fat because you metabolism cant keep up. It is a cascade of death. You are dying that simple. So if a GLP1, GIP and glucagon stops you from feeding yourself more toxins. Just on that you will reverse health. Just fix your mitochondria and gut and the magic happens. The list is pretty long now , MAFLD/MASLD, Arthritis, Sleep apnea, Bariatric surgery, heart disease, kidney disease etc as well as all the smaller ones fat guts, cholesterol, HbA1c, inflammation etc which to many people aren’t really so small.

My missus calls it her miracle drug & I'm starting to go along with it.

This is also a good video - most of us here know most of it but hearing it like that brings it home a bit more.

@statieeight Here is a fun one: the Wall Street Journal had an article this week talking about how some doctors are using GLP-1’s to treat eating disorders. It sounds completely counterintuitive, but by interrupting the food noise and hunger cravings, you short-circuit the binge-purge cycle and facilitate the development of healthy eating habits, or something like that.

All I know is that my booze intake has dropped 95%, and I have had a 40+ love affair with booze. It also helped me quit a couple of very toxic video games. To be honest, that was probably better than the weight loss.

Please set a funny and sarcastic signature line. It brings me joy. Thank you for your attention in this matter.

@STATIEEIGHT It can be reversed. All the above simply by starting a proper diet alone. Use peptides right and youll get there quicker.

Yeh - I have a family member that was verging on alcoholic levels of drinking that now drinks maybe once a week since pretty much the day he started.

He looks like a totally different guy now.

(And I know he visits here occasionally too so 👋🤣)

@STATIEEIGHT My desire for beers has pretty much disappeared. I opened one the other day just to see - it tasted fine but I had no desire to finish the bottle (or the other 5!) Huge win for Reta.

@statieeight that sounds like great news! I hope he continues to improve both wealthwise and interpersonally.

I have done pretty well in life, but I can only imagine what might have been different without being hung over and/or playing video games as a distraction for so long.

@STATIEEIGHT if you are relying on peps to do all the work. You'll be disappointed. Peps are tools and the tools dont move themselves. I do make great flourless sandwiches by the way. All protien baby!
