Anyone have much experience with ara290 on their research rats?Does it help with paw neuropothy pain?

Daily for me, helps my rats inflammation and nerve pain associated with it. Many have said it’s helped them with their neuropathy

@WisGal64 I have been reading up on ARA-290 for the Anti-Inflammatory effect for my rats systemic inflamation. Was thinking about researching after a cycle VIP. Curious how long you are cycling the ARA-290?

@falc I initially started at a 28 day cycle 2 mg/day, took 2 weeks off. Then switched to a 16 week cycle, 3mg/day on a fasted stomach. How is your cycle of VIP going?

@WisGal64 I like VIP, I am on week six of a twelve week cycle. I started out doing 200 mcg once a day but at week three I started doing 200mcg a day split into two doses. I still get a mild flush about a minute or so after dosing but it is not bad.

@falc I trialed a vial subq, that flushing is a weird feeling , glad it doesn’t last long. Did end up grabbing a kit, I add it in on those really bad weeks where the ARA isn’t quite enough. VIP alone is powerful, but together they are a powerhouse imo

@WisGal64 it is a unique flushing reaction. I ended up reconstituting 10mg vials from Nexaph ( a little overfilled ) with 5ml of Hospira to get the reaction more acceptable. I wanted to titrate up to 300mcg per dose but it was a little more intense than I wanted, so I have leveled out at 200mcg.

My rat has a narrowed spinal canal in the lumbar area from a 2007 injury. I ran four 10mg vials at 2mg a day. Worked best at night with 3hr fasted. Neuropathy symptoms went away for three months. Ran two more vials and symptoms were eliminated again. Bonus was it also eliminated tarsal tunnel, not just neuro symptoms.

8 week cycle for the rodent, then take 2 weeks off and start again. Helps tweaked back for the rodent.
