Stuck Pen - can't retract
-
Has anybody had a stuck pen situation? I went in to put a new cartridge on but the plunger would not retract. I tried putting on 50 units, 0 units and 10 units. And it's still stuck. I put quite a bit of pressure downward on it and it's definitely not moving. Any ideas on how I can unstick this?

@montemontemayor Ok this may be bad advice. I had this happen and tried everything. Then I decided, what the heck and hit the plunger into a table and it worked.

I have a few persnickety pens (the ones I didn't purchase from the PC shop!) that I have applied a very tiny amount of 'snap and zipper lubricant' to the upper half of the shaft at a cartridge swap prior to resetting the plunger. The mechanism seems to function more smoothly after this. Silicone based. Bought for my waterski gear on Amazon. Made by BTAS. There are other options. I apply with a Q-tip making sure not leave any fibers behind.

Well, I don't have to do this with my other pens but I held down the button and then press down on the plunger and it worked. Not a fan of that design.
