I've noticed when I use my Pep pens that for several hours afterwards I have raised bumps with the red needle poke in the middle. After the injections should I be gently massaging the areas or is that not necessary? I am wondering if these raised bumps are actually the peptide just sitting in my subcutaneous skin. Sorry for the newbie question i'm still new.2fc2d1b4-2500-4aca-b6b9-c9b111bd733b-image.jpeg

If you are using the shot needles 4MM, try using the 8MM. The short ones tend to leak out for me. I don't recall ever getting bumps though. Does this happen with anything you inject or a specific compound?

@CapmanCrunch-0 this is a really good question and I probably should have been paying closer attention to which peptides these bumps represent. I am taking all the normal stuff :0) Wolverine, KPV, NAD+, MOTS-c, and SS-31. even since I wrote this post they are mostly gone, and the and the pin was probably 3 or 4 hours ago. Yes, I am using a 32G 4 MM needle.

Yep, short needles and anything over 15 units will leave bumps on my poor rat subject. Longer 1/2" needles rarely leave a bump on him.

@montemontemayor Are you pinching the skin? My guess is it's getting caught between skin layers. When that happens, you get a little bump, but it dissipates pretty quickly.

@montemontemayor I only use pens and for me it's based on the specific pep. Sometimes NAD will do that, but I've never had it with Reta.

Being so new, I dont know any better but I thought 1/2" would become IM and not SubQ. Is the trick just to angle that baby in?

@montemontemayor I have issues with 1/2 inch for that reason in my thighs and stomach. I don't have the fat; it looks like you don't either, so be careful. I have no issues with 1/4 inch. Just make sure to pinch the skin and push the needle in all the way. I don't use the cap that hides the needle either.

The angle and the pinch. I'll usually pull up a bit of my rats skin between my thumb and finger then inject in there. Like this:

Try 32g x 6mm. I recently switched from 4mm and I don’t get bumps or skin irritations. I don’t like using longer needles because I have a knack for hitting blood vessels and then getting huge bruises.

Please set a funny and sarcastic signature line. It brings me joy. Thank you for your attention in this matter.

Also switched from 4mm to 6mm. No issues now.

I am pinching Except when I am doing Wolverine I just inject it directly into my shoulder and don't have any of these bumps

Definitely try a longer needle tip, inject slower let your peps warm up a bit if they’re fresh out the fridge.

Yikes - thankfully Ive never had an issue that would send me to the hospital. That would scare the bleep outta me TBH.
