Skin sensitivity on reta
-
My rat is complaining of skin sensitivity / tingling since starting reta about a month ago. It’s not terrible, but quite noticeable. Mostly legs, and mostly with fabric movement like a blanket. I have seen in these threads and other places online that this is a known side effect of reta. He is on 2 mg, split at 1 mg on Mondays and Thursdays. He does tirz 2.5 twice a week as well. No other peps.
Does the skin thing go away with time? If he escalates his dose, is it likely to get worse? He has absolutely no other side effects from either med. He was wondering if he was even jabbed with anything at all, if it wasn’t for the skin thing (and the modest weight loss). -
@BeeKind I wanted reta for the glucagon effect and tirz for the superior food noise reduction I got from prednisone. I was most intrigued with the glucagon effect of reta due to how prednisone screws up systemic blood sugar metabolism. I needed to mobilize all that extra new glycogen that pred packed on.
And I never had food noise before until I went on prednisone a few months ago. Man, that food noise shit is real! I was desperate to get rid of that. I was miserable.
And I was hoping the combination would help me keep on low-dose of both. -
I had dysesthesia from Reta at 1.5 mg and it went away eventually after two months as I was titrating up. Mine was on my fore and under arms side ribs but mostly forearms though and not on my legs. It wasn't painful either just ticklish tingly, more sensitive hard to desribe but noticeble.

Jankins has been on reta for a good while now. But jankins wanted the appetite suppresion as well, so jankins lowered his reta too 6mg on friday and 10mg of tirz on monday for appetite suppresion, and so for jankins is reporting its been awesome and so far jankins is down almost 85 lbs since feburary. Although jankins didnt start stacking till about 2 months ago.
Jankins stack consists of
Friday
6mg reta, 1 mg aod, 2mg mots, 1mg pt141
Saturday
1mg aod, 2mg mots
Sunday
1mg aod 2mg mots
Monday
10mg tirz, 2mg mots
Tues weds skip
Thursday
2mg mots, 2mg aod, 250mg nad.
Repeat weekly.
Every other month jankins doses 1mg ghk every day for the month 1 month on 1 month off and repeat. Jankins hasnt felt this good since he was 16. Jankins started at 5.15x100 lbs in jan and is now down too 4.3x100 lbs currently. Jankins has been more active currently since he retired from the Marine corp in 04.
Jankins is loving life and looks forward too the next day now vs b4 life was mundane and bleh! -

And thanks for the potentially good news that the skin thing may go away after a while. I can switch my RS to survo but I’d never heard of it before this message board. It has the glycogen receptor agonist as well.

You're better off stacking survo with tirz on the rat. Its an odd thing to add any other glp at the low tirz dose tbh. I blast 15mg a week.
@Randy yes, I realize that now after reading all I can from this message board. I haven’t heard of the other two Chinese GLP1s till now. When I started, I already had the tirz from a 503a compounding pharmacy. But I really really wanted the glucagon action of Reta to combat the acute prednisone weight gain. I paid sooo much for the tirz tho. Lol
I have to reevaluate my strategy now. I’m taking my time and not jumping to buy peps until I have thought of all the angles and asked more questions. Love this message board! -
@jennn I had that same "skin thing" when I stacked it with my Tirz. Wanted the glucagon for my liver. Then @randy posted his "ghetto Reta" (thanks Randy) with dosing schedules. So, I dropped Reta and added Mazdutide instead. Been a month now. Broke a stall, and no more "skin thing".

The skin thing...Forearms for me and scalp but not too bad. It is pretty mild.

I experienced dysesthesia when I titrated to 3mg on my left outer thigh. Just titrate down on your next pin. It goes away. Part of finding the least and most effective does. Be patient, start low .5mg and titrate up until you find the sweet spot. If you're looking to kill hunger then reta is not for you. You need to eat but the 'slop will not help you. You need to do your part and start tuning up better eating habits. Its not that hard. Get rid of anything made out of flour, seed oil, refine sugars and tune it from there. You can naturally stimulate your body's production of glucagon like peptide-1 (GLP-1) the hormone responsible for satiety and blood sugar control by eating foods rich in soluble fiber, lean proteins, and healthy monounsaturated fats.

@Newenough yeah I saw that post after I bought a Reta kit. Lol. The skin thing is only vaguely annoying. But when the kit is don, I may go that route with one of those Chinese GLP1+glucagon. Why did you choose Maz over Survo?
