Ion Peptides. I feel slimy after this interaction.

Wanted to make sure everyone saw this since it happened under an unrelated topic.
-
@wisgal64 I think you are missing the point. It had nothing to do with the question. Its the person having an affiliation with the company. Lying that they dont and then scrubbing their profile to pretend no affiliation existed.

@Mydogdaryl423 And obviously this question of "is it the same or different peptide" didn't look very sincere from somebody claiming 10 years of experience in peptides and cooperation with vendors. It looked just as a way to hint the readers to check it out.

Oh boy this coming from the person that joined 3 hours ago. Right when this happened. I smell something fishy.
-
Nothing wrong with it, I guess. I think you’re taking it a little too seriously. If that person does have some affiliation, that’s a separate issue. What he's saying still tells us something about the company’s private-labeling practices.
@bradpep OK, I guess I have to ask THE (rhetorical) QUESTION, (our reincarnated friend).
Don't you know that almost every vendor renamed these compounds into something like***1***S***,***2***T***, and***3***R***, and those who didn't are being sued byE***L***company? -

@Mydogdaryl423 You're cracking me up today!
It's Friday - let her rip tater chip. -
vpeptides Yeah, I know that, but there are still plenty of vendors selling this openly under their real names. So, are they going to get sued too?
-
Most vendors I have worked with do not refer to the product by its actual name; instead, they typically use a nickname. However, their COAs usually identify the testing under RETA or similar. I understand COAs can be a sensitive topic, but they are our starting point to see what “Supposedly” was tested, and this appears to be common practice for most vendors listed on this website. I have not recently seen one (vendor) that labels it directly as RETA, though I am sure some exist and I may not have looked closely enough. My understanding is that vendors avoid using the RETA name directly because larger companies may pursue legal action over name association or flag it and they stick out like a sore thumbs to these groups? That said, it seems they are just buying time for the nicknames.

@Mydogdaryl423 it’s like that part in the movie Hot Rod, where Danny McBride gets in a fight but he starts out saying… I’ve been drinking green tea all day! I go to church every darn Sunday, but you go and bring the devil out in me! lol

Hey y’all! I’m with Ion Peptide. I don’t know Tyler, but I did see the other thread where his profile apparently stated that he “worked with Ion Peptide.” My assumption would be that he meant he used our products, but either way, that is definitely strange and misleading wording.
I wanted to come here and clear a few things up directly:
-
We have absolutely no reason to create a random thread about whether Ion-2T and GLP-2T are the same thing and try to source customers. That simply doesn’t make sense.
-
Some of the conspiracy theories being thrown around here escalated pretty quickly without anyone actually verifying the facts.
-
Back in March or April we renamed some of our products:
- Ion-1S = GLP-1
- Ion-2T = GLP-2
- Ion-3R = GLP-3
-
We have never had an employee or affiliate named Tyler Brooks. To be completely clear, we also do not work with, employ, sponsor, or have any affiliation whatsoever with the user here named tylerbrooks.
Hopefully that clears up any confusion. I’m happy to address legitimate questions about Ion directly, but I wanted to make sure the facts were stated clearly before speculation continued to snowball.

What facts needed to be verified? A user posted an absolute softball question, linked to your company and then when their profile was checked had listed an affiliation with the company they were posting about. This was never about the information in the post itself. Almost anyone on here knows the answer to the question. Every vendor has their product listed that way.
Interesting assumption. I dont see any way to interpret that post other than how it was.
At the end of the day I dont know you or your company. I have no way to know whether you are telling the truth or not but I know this. If he was a plant you learned your lesson. If he wasn't, so be it but it was good lesson for any other vendor.

@Ionpeptide Then how do you explain the bio in his profile? That can’t just be “coincidence” or a “misunderstanding”.

I think because you are not aware of us you could assume we would create a plant.
Ion is not a small vendor, we are not a medium sized vendor. I have absolutely no need nor want to try and earn customers thru slimy tactics or gotcha post.
I cannot explain that users bio nor will I make additional further attempts to make sense of it. It has nothing to do with Ion and our plans/goals.
I simply came here to clear the air. If you choose to believe me, then I can tell you, I am being earnest. Everyone in the space who knows me, will vouch for me.
If you choose to believe I planted that user, there is truly nothing I can do to persuade you otherwise.
