Visa is blocking purchases
-
This morning I tried placing orders with Gen Peptide and NEXAMP. Both times I received a code like "pickup card - SF" which apparently means the charges were denied by VISA due to the vendor being tagged as high risk. I have plenty of available credit on the card.
How is the community getting around these restrictions? Using ACH, crypto, etc.?
Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

@robert929045 try a different vendor

That would be horrible, did you use this card multiple times for pep purchases from the same place? I'm wondering if it is more of a personal thing with your creditor or bank. I only order when needed so it will be a bit till I can verify with my Visa unfortunately.
its just a hiccup and you can use the card soon. -
Thank you for your comments. Stevepep, that is most interesting and I'm glad you had no issues.
My VISA is through Fidelity Investments and I guess it's possible they are blocking some peptide vendors. In the past few weeks I've order from Crush Research, Puratek and Southern Aminos with zero issues.
I've contacted Cain and we are going to use the Money Link option.
Again, I really appreciate the feedback.

Haven't had any issues using Visa as late as a month ago.
Also have used MasterCard with some who still offer it.
I find all these payment processor and CC issuer tactics ludicrous while PayPal / Venmo are offering 4% API to park funds in crypto.

@pep_researcher Studz charges a 9pct fee on CC purchases. I expect to see more of this

Right, what I meant was while one door might be closing, PayPal is opening alternate door. Buy PYUSD and keep for 4% APY, vendors may offer PYUSD as an option, some already do.
No one wants to lose this business, because Lilly/Novo are not sharing their billion $ profits with Visa/MC/carriers, but they are a bit too big to defy their requests at this point.

To bring this topic to closure. My wife asked if her retail card might work for a NEXAPH order. Upon reviewing it, I realized it was a Master Card. She had it for years and just used it at her favorite retail stores. Long story short, we successfully placed a NEXAPH order using it. So it looks as though Fidelity groups vendors into various categories for rewards points. Thus, it was a Fidelity/Visa issue not VISA. I hope that makes sense. I thought a few of you might like to know.
