So, I have a v2 peptide pen. The cartridge has 220 units listed. What does that mean? I reconstituted 10 mg of selank with 3 ml of bac water. Confused what the 220 units are - what measurement is that? How does it relate to the units on a syringe?

@[email protected] it doesn't matter what is the mass (in mg) you dissolved, units is the measure of volume. Volume, like 3 ml (milliliters). 1 ml = 100 units, or 1 unit = 0.01 ml. So, 220 units = 2.2 ml. Now, if you dissolve 10 mg in 300 units, each 30 units (which is 1/10 of 300) will have, how much? 1/10 of 10 mg, or 1 mg.

@[email protected] I think you are referring to the markings on the cartridge holder, correct? Ok, take my picture for example, I have it loaded up with approx 3mL’s of GHK, and you can see along the side where it gives you all those different levels, just like yours. Those numbers have nothing to do with your dose. Yes those are unit markings, but they are there as more of a guide/visual reference to let you know approximately how much solution is left in the cartridge. All you need to worry about is getting your dose dialed in with the adjustment knob. That’s it. I hope this helps clear up any confusion.

@[email protected] Yes, you are correct. If your dose calls for 21 units on an insulin syringe, on the pen you would just turn the dial to 21. That's why I think it's so important to label your pens with all your dosing information like I have done in the picture.
