They sent out an email on Sunday stating they now had an option for Bitcoin. It gave the illusion that there may be issues with Zelle. Don't know if this helps but it's all the info I have. Below is a quote from part of the email I'm referencing.

If you’re having trouble paying with Zelle on an existing order and would prefer to pay with Bitcoin, please contact our customer service team and we’ll help you make the switch.

A quick search makes it seem like using zelle or venmo can sometimes cause issues if they flag your account for dealing with certain vendors. It's probably the same issue with credit cards. As annoying as it is, it's probably best to learn to use crypto. If you must use zelle or venmo, maybe set up an account at a different bank that you use specifically for buying gray products that is separate from your main banking in case it gets frozen or flagged or whatever.

@mikealreynolds My Zelle and subsequently my bank associated CC was locked once when I tried to order from Crush. I never tried ordering from them again. That was about three weeks ago.

@jennn On the last two orders I paid with Zelle on Crush, each time instead of sending it instantly Zelle decided to send it standard over 3-4 days business days. I contacted my bank and they said they had no control over it, it was totally on Zelle. I just screenshot the payment ID /transaction number shared it with Crush support by email and let them know what was going on and to please hold my order and not cancel it. They were gracious enough to wait for the payment to go through. That was before new ownership. I recommend doing the same if Zelle still says it's pending on their end. I think Zelle might be extra cautious with sending payments to Peptide companies.

Yeah, I just recieved a call from my bank, they are not able to verify CRUSH with the email address, they said that this is highly a fraud, so they asked if they can cancel... well I told them ok to cancel it.

I have a email to CRUSH to customer service see what happens here....lol

@mikealreynolds my first two Zelle transactions with Crush went through very smooth, like almost instantly. But the last two didn't go so smoothly. But eventually it all worked out.

Venmo lets the user set a separate ID from the actual name which Zelle doesn't. Zelle sends your full legal name over wire that sits on vendor bank account transactions. Given the "grayness" of the area, the regulatory hawks, and lack of data leak protection from vendors, all this together creates uneasy feeling for some (like me).

CC esp single use virtual numbers, crypto, Venmo, CashApp are better.

The last thing a researcher wants is their bank freezing their account due to transactions with an RUO vendor.

@pep_researcher great, I'll add that to my list of things to stress out about. I didn't realize that happened with Zelle- I didn't even think about it.

Just someone with a fridge full of research and a browser history that would concern my doctor.

@BeeKind LOL sorry to bust your serenity, but I'm in tech/data security, so any financial transaction sets off alarm bells for me.

I only use Zelle between my own accounts or with close friends/family for stuff like splitting a bill. Never with an RUO vendor. If Zelle's the only option, I walk away thinking 'amateurs'.

Any mature ops vendor has at least one non-Zelle option, usually CCs with MasterCard too.

Like someone said — if OnlyFans and p0rn figured out CC, RUO vendors have no excuse. 😂

@pep_researcher I have only used Venmo twice: To donate money to a fundraiser. I have maximum restrictions on it and have never told anyone about it.

So imagine my surprise 1) on Oct. 8th, 2023, when I got 3 requests from someone in New Jersey to fund Palestinian war efforts, and 2) when my brother sent me money.

Apparently, if someone knows or can guess your email address, they can send you requests or money and afaik there is nothing you can do about it. (I am in IT but I don’t spend a lot of time messing around with this stuff bc I have better things to do.)

So IMO, fuck everything about all of that.

and yeah, my banker suggested using Zelle to transfer between my accounts at different banks and family ONLY.
