GHKCU
-
For those who use GHK-Cu systemically (subcutaneous injections): What baseline testing or cancer screenings did you complete before starting?
I understand that GHK-Cu stimulates angiogenesis (the formation of new blood vessels) via growth factors like VEGF. While I know it doesn't cause cancer mutations directly, I am aware of the theoretical concern that angiogenic compounds could feed an existing, undiagnosed malignancy. -

I'd also recommend testing Copper RBC, Copper, and Ceruloplasmin. Copper RBC lets you know your long term cellular Copper levels. Copper and Ceruloplasmin will let you compute free copper in serum. The odds of your GHK-cu at any reasonable dose leading to copper toxicity are low... but I'm paranoid and so track it

Estimated Free Copper = Copper - 3x Ceruloplasmin
Basically the Copper measurement measures total copper in serum. Usually copper is bound up in Cerulosplasmin.

@PeptideEd Zinc RBC then too

I use GHK-Cu and supplement Zinc (as L-OptiZinc) to counterbalance copper. Just in case, not a real concern.
