I've got my peptides stored in a sealed contraption packed in dessicants inside a freezer. Overboard, yes, but they'll be good for many, many years.
Unpopular opinion, but I just have a sneaking suspicion that eventually the crackdown will happen. Hopefully I am proven wrong.

It’s interesting to see how resilient lyophilized peps actually are. I’ll still store my long-term in the freezer… but it’s nice to not have to worry about summer transportation.
What’s been interesting from your other tests (of reconstituted peps) is how there seems to be a sort of exponential drop-off beyond a certain timeframe. I wonder if that holds true with lyophilized after a year or more in these conditions.

A 22% loss after a year is still quite a bit, and that's best case scenario and not taking Jake's points into effect which may well be true.
Definitely worth taking a modicum of effort and freezing them.
