    Here's a quick comparison of what's left behind in a cart after each pen version has pushed to its limit.

    If you really need to get every last drop out, just use a syringe to pull out the remaining; never use a spacer.

          That's very helpful.

          But if pens are inaccurate when it comes down the last bit, who should let their cartridge go that low? As Randy has stated. The last 10 or so unita are inaccurate. I tested a pen that is not supposed to let you dial more than what's left in the cartridge. I consistently got 15 to 20 units less than what the pen dial indicates, on that final dose.

              According to Jeff, it can make the doses inaccurate.

                @ogsteve make dosing inaccurate and will break your pens, if you really need the last 5 units use a syringe to get it out.
