Cloudy Peptides: Why Acetic Acid Can Make a Vial Look Clear Without Fixing It (Video)

🎬 Watch on RandyTube: Cloudy Peptides: Why Acetic Acid Can Make a Vial Look Clear Without Fixing It (Video)

A cloudy reconstituted peptide can sometimes look clearer after adding a little acetic acid, but a clear vial does not prove the peptide underneath is intact. Using a problematic oxytocin batch, this video shows the clouding, the clumping, and why the "fix" is cosmetic.

I bought a thymosin alpha 1 kit of 10 from Lily peptide. It had no date on it. And it had butterflies on the cap. I’m sure they got it from someone else because it didn’t look like the other kits of different peptides that I ordered in the same shipment . I reconstituted it with bacteriostatic water and it was very clumpy and gelled. I contacted her about it and she told me to add acetic acid. It didn’t make sense to me that the peptide would be good just because I use acetic acid. She told me to reconstitute another file and see how that one turned out. That one was cloudy as well. I never did try the acetic acid cause I don’t trust the peptides in the first place. I’m glad I came across your video verifying what I felt. Thank you.
