"Sterilized & Siliconized" Cartridges from Daro?
-
Does anyone buy carts from Daro? I'm thinking of making the switch.
I usually get my carts from Peptide Test, but noticed Daro is one of the few vendors to explicitly state that their carts are "Sterilized and Siliconized." I admittedly had to look up "Siliconized" lol
Honestly, it's hard for me to even tell if they're the same exact product.

We ordered samples from the same manufacturer on Alibaba, and our testing found silicone shedding into the liquid. That’s why we don’t carry these cartridges and don’t recommend using them. Those tiny silicone oil droplets can encourage some proteins to clump and form particles, so coating quality matters. Animal studies have also shown increased antibody responses to proteins injected with silicone droplets, raising concerns about unwanted immune reactions. “Sterilized” doesn’t prevent silicone shedding, and advertising “siliconized” as a selling point doesn’t address what we found.

@Randy Do you plan to carry regular sterile/non-pyrogenic vials? Amazon vials are a gamble. Have bought from a couple of other lab supply sites, but they usually carry bulk 25 packs.

@pep_researcher no. tried 3 suppliers and 3 failed sterility tests. The us made ones have no margin.

@Randy Oh! That makes those Amazon Chinese vials all the more scary.

I have used them and they are smooth. I have also bought them from Big Time Broadcasts and Riptide supplies (never using Riptide again) and they are the exact same carts. And have been smooth. The only thing I won't use them on is my oils. I keep those in an old school pen carts that are not siliconized. I only keep oil in those for 3 weeks max and have had zero issues. Very convenient.
