Apileen13XR - weight loss pep which activates 4 receptors?
-
BLL started to sell their weight loss pep.
https://biolongevitylabs.com/product/apileen13xr/According to the last video with Mike Farber, that is a mixture of longlasting Reta with Apelin-13

Aaaaaand Reta is outdated. This is the reason I don't stalk up on GLP and why pharmacies will never compete.
-
I’d want to see a lot more information on this before trying it out. What is dosing? Effectiveness? I’ve been waiting for NA-931 (bioglutide) for a while now.
-
I have some Snake Oil that should work just as good if not better….

@ResearchCat I know for the dosing they suggest to start with 20 mcg every week, and you may go up to 40 mcg a week. They claim it gives you energy for the exercise and burns fat at higher doses.

Well, to take a cautious optimistic outlook....
So far zero human or animal studies evaluating how a specific two peptide blend affects weight loss. Now Apelin-13 has been researched except....those trials focused on heart, lung and kidney diseases.
Oddly the majority of info published on this comes from Biolongevity themselves

I am waiting for Elora prices to come down a little

@MikeMiranda Loretta, the quad agonist. Elora plus Reta. Hard to beat that.

I know, I'm just waiting. I am currently running Reta and Tirz, but I will be stopping Tirz soon and doing Reta/Cagri. I am kinda sad I didn't get the Loretta from YuanTi; it was $100 a kit.

I’m all for peps (especially the ones that have been used for 15-20 years), but I don’t know if I’ll trade my well established and studied GLP1 class for a brand new and completely untested alternative. And it’s likely to be way more expensive through only one source, if BLL keeps it away from the copy cats.

@jennn a minus is that it's not tested as well as Reta, a plus is that it has 19 days half-life vs. 6 days and the dosages are 100 times smaller, which may mean a lot less side-effects for a similar formulation.
-
@mmp not necessary. If the main effect is achieved with a low dose there may be no side effects with this dose. But if also the half life is short, one way to extend the main effect is to increase the dose many times, so it degrades longer. But the larger dose may show the side effects that are not there with a small dose.

@mmp I’m super skeptical about anything Mike Farber is putting out. I hate the way he describes Klotho in terms of its kidney utility. I’m a nephrologist, and it’s quite clear he has NO idea what he is talking about. Not that it may not work in some ways in some situations, but he just has no idea how to delineate tubular interstial disease from glomerular disease, and that’s dangerous to people who look to this for CKD. Maybe he stumbled onto something good with FLGR and this new quad4 drug, but I have a feeling he’s really getting ahead of his skis. And Jay Campbell and Trevor Kruder are getting swept up in the excitement of it all.

@jennn It will be interesting to hear a professional opinion on it and see how it develops. I tried his a-Klotho-LR product for 8 weeks at the dose he suggested. Klotho is easy to overdose, there are other Klotho proteins on sale and also Klotho-peptides, but they are short-working and you can't guess your levels. I liked a-Klotho-LR because it is strictly low-dosed matching your natural Klotho levels and stays 19 days bound to albumin, which is a great solution to this problem.
At that point I was also taking other things like GHRH so I can't just blame a-Klotho-LR, but my eGFR level (cystatin-c based) went from 110s to 70s, and it had never been at those levels before, for many years of testing. I stopped all the interventions and it slowly went up over 6 weeks, now at 97. At this point I decided to try a-Klotho-LR again and will check in a month or two, maybe it was a coincidence. I also did a blood check for Klotho before I restarted, and it showed a very low level of it. It is not a mainstream lab though and the testing technology may be not perfect. Too many unknowns. -

My skepticism with him and his line of 200 rando drug patents is that he can’t even coherently explain a mechanism of action that makes any medical sense.
Now this albumin binding protein that’s supposed to increase the half life of these drugs, maybe that’s something. But I don’t know if I buy this Apileen13 thing if there’s already an additional 3 receptor agonist baked in with it. -

It's a nice combo. Their alpha klotho uses a similar strong binder.
I wouldn't recommend though to buy it at least now. They got a lot of it in stock and will run a bigger sale likely on black friday in a few weeks if you want to research it.
