Affordable and trusted testing companies….
-
Good evening! New member posting
I want to first thank Randy and his family creating this community forum! Without your information and advice most of us here would be in the dark. Much appreciated
My question is what known and trusted companies offer affordable testing prices? What exact tests should we ask for when sending samples? Any insight and info would be grateful!

There is info here https://peptidecritic.com/peptides/testing-providers
Also, peptidetest.com offers group testing, not sure of prices.

Right now (and for the last couple years) my go to is Analytical formulations inc. John over there has been running his lab since 2008 and is a wealth of knowledge. He's the dude. Email [email protected]. He takes a week or less in most cases to get me mass/purity/sterility. Name dropping us cant hurt

Peptide test and trustpoint are basically the same thing. Soon they will split. Depending on where you source testing may or may not be necessary depending on how you like to research.
Janoshik is a disaster to deal with. They doxxed my personal information on their public test page by accident which was really great. Getting them to take it down took a week. The results on mass/purity really depend on who is in the lab that day. You will see the same sample tested 3 days apart and get a +/- 10% result.
On chromate a few vendors I know have ceased using them due to issues with accuracy or mixing up samples.

@randy I've been looking at the different testing labs. I like the layout on Analytical Formulations site, easy to understand and know what you are looking at for $$ Transparent about pricing too.
Overall: I can definitely see the benefits of group buy.
I'm puzzled by some of the labs, why they don't make a price list public, instead have to request a quote. They are offering a service, but don't want to share the prices upfront, seems strange to me. But maybe I'm missing something?

@WisGal64 I just sent vanguard, freedom, afi and trustpointe samples. Afi was the most frictionless because i just texted John to let him know whats coming and what i need. Trustpointe was a simple checkout with emailed instructions for shipping/labeling. Freedom was some nonsense about loading our credit card so they can charge us later. Vanguards site was half broken so i filled out the form and mailed them. No way to really communicate or pay first.

also on the subject of a group buy I'm all for it. Ive just seen them go sideways. If you all band together to do one i ask that its done offsite in telegram, discord or somewhere like that. Actually running that on here would open us up to legal eagles. Linking here is totally fine and I'd join in...for the culture.
