filter diameter differences

Are different filter diameters used for specific purposes? is using a larger diameter detrimental for one peptide vs another? [not sure why that would be,, but alas, is why i'm here] is even more peptide wasted with a 25 and 33mm than the 13? and lastly, is the waste referring to the liquid left in the nozzle or the membrane's capture of peptide molecule or just its absorbtion? thx for your help ++

use the smallest one possible to avoid waste.
The filtration capacity is as follows.
- 1ml and under 4mm
- 10ml and under 13mm
- 33mm 100ml and under
Use 13mm and purge it with air or 15iu when your done to reduce peptide waste. Its rare im doing less than 1ml but i do have 4mm on hand.
