GHK-Cu Full Body Hives
-
I used GHK-Cu copper from Nexaph for 33 days at 3mg daily (same 100mg bottle entire time). I also took a 15mg Zinc + 2mg Copper oral supplement daily. Was not using any other peps at this time. Used Hospira BAC.
I dosed 3mg of GHK-Cu Thursday night and awoke 3 hours later during sleep to full body itching and small hives in multiple places across the body (arms, legs, face). Also first time noticing any irritation at the injection site making me think it’s definitely the GHK. Nothing new with diet and first time ever having an allergic reaction.
I took Benadryl 25mg to sleep for three nights. The hives came and went for 72 hours.Does this mean I am permanently done with GHK-Cu? Can it ever be used again? Have heard of issues like this with MOTS-C, and GH Secretagogues but never heard of full body histamine reaction like this with GHK-Cu. Maybe over did it with the higher dose and copper supplement? But hives isn’t a symptom of copper toxicity. I have taken Reta since then with no issue.

Yeah thats an allergy to the ghk. Its very uncommon but ive seen it. It's unlikely its the source but not impossible. The fact you were researching with it for 33 days prior rules that out in my mind.
Once you get a histamine reaction its pretty much game over for research with that compound.
The only rec i have is it could be endotoxin. It's nexaph so you likely have another bottle from the batch. If you can afford it sending a bottle for endo testing to peptide test or jano would rule that out. Its not cheap but thats what i would do.

@Randy i was told I could test it by
“take your diluent peptide and mix with small amount of Vaseline (petroleum jelly) and apply to a band aide. then place on inner aspect of the arm and leave for 24 hours. check site for an raised lesions such as a blister. redness with itching at site also a sign of allergy.”
Wondering if you would try this? If bandaid test is successful then attempt a 200mcg injection and work my way up. Hoping there’s some way I can use GHK again as the results were pretty good.
Btw thank you for all you do. You are easily one of the best resources in this entire space by far. Love your YT.

Yes you could do that. I've had hives from mots and a certain unpopular jab a few years back. Its unpleasant. What i can tell you is if you are allergic it gets worse every time.
What is the cap and seal color (or batch number) of the GHK you have from nexaph?

@Randy just curious, you didn’t filter these? That much confidence in the vendor?
Also realized I might have been eating too much canned fish the week prior to the reaction, possible histamine was super high in my system from those foods. Worth considering.

@jamesfort I have plenty of confidence in the vendor but I ALWAYS filter.
I had something similar happen on bpc157 (super ithcy) and realized the collagen peptides i was dumping in my coffee had something to do with it.
