The only issue is that it is attached to my right C4 nerve sheath and is almost right up against my jugular vein. Was also told I could experience some long-lasting nerve pain down my right arm into my fingertips. But, I have follow-up imaging in December and will be talking to the surgeon to get a game plan.

These scales rely entirely on electrical conductivity, hydration is the single biggest variable. Weighing in right after a heavy workout (when you're dehydrated) or after drinking a lot of water will temporarily skew the resistance. I take my measurements first thing in the morning before eating, drinking, or training. Also a 4 electrode is not nearly as accurate as an 8. The 4 is estimating your upper mass with an algorithm. The 8 sends the current through your whole body. I love these scales for trends but would not use it for anything that requires an accurate number.

@beekind good for you. I’ve been a workout nut for the past 35 years. I live to see people working out. It doesn’t have to be some crazy intense workout, just as long as you are moving and doing something. Now I think the more you do, the more you’ll want to do. There are just so many benefits, especially as we get older, to get the work in. I have to hit the gym at least five days a week. Helps me keep my sanity. Anyway keep up the good work.
