One suggestion that could make this significantly more valuable would be to consolidate more grey vendor data into a standardized format. For example:

    • Lab results and testing history
    • Dates of testing/results
    • Third‑party references (PeptideCompare metascores, Peptide.Chat analysis, etc.)
    • Pricing (use the most popular kits as a metric, include shipping)
    • Dedicated forum threads organized by vendor to make updates easier to follow
    • Current Telegram, Discord, and website links (a number of the links in the pinned message appear to have already expired)

It might also be helpful to develop a weighted scoring framework similar to what some of the other review sites use. That could incorporate factors such as testing history, consistency, customer experiences, transparency, community feedback, and overall risk profile.

The goal would be to give people a single place where they can evaluate grey‑market vendors holistically and compare the risks, benefits, and overall community experience more objectively.

Thanks for all the work you've already put into this

@mandarmirashi All good ideas, thank you. We already have a weighted scoring system we use for vendors; we just publish the vendor ranks, not the score. Too many other sites scrape our data for their own use without our permission, but we score vendors on the factors you mention and more, then rank them in our vendor directory.

I actually think the board is 95% there, maybe something small here or there but otherwise it is great.
PLEASE don’t make it complicated and stuffed like Peppy’s, that board is a mess. They literally have tons of instructions on “how to use the features”, if you need instructions it clearly is too complicated.
I know you don’t have the time, but… Peptide Critic Testing lab like Jano. That way we have a place that we can actually trust with reasonable testing prices to send samples in for testing. You do things 110% and don’t skimp on things, that is what a lab needs to do.
      Just my pipe dream…

I'll help fund a Peptide Critic testing lab if Randy wants to run it.

I would love a way to filter the "unread" section, so I dont see all the vendor reviews.

You knocked it out of the park. I know Jeff is thinking about it maybe a little nudge from all of us can get this going. I am happy to contribute to the go fund @randy. I am so fed up with these labs it’s a real struggle

@stevepep @commander +1 on @randy 's testing lab. I might feel more confident to go dark grey. Hehe

Would also be great if Pen Shop is expanded beyond pens.

Protocols use to be easy to find. As the forum ages it’s harder to look back at them. Maybe a “Randy’s Research Library” in the drop down tab that is visible behind login.

Follows research backed science, not “trust me” bro’s.

A page dedicated to understanding the basics of COA’s for newer researchers. Terms used, Generally accepted ranges, Etc…

I think we really need two new categories. One for protocols and one for vendor reviews. Also I would restrict new people from leaving reviews until they have 10 posts or so.

I would also add to the vendors if they are just repackaging grey peptides. Finishing in the US. And most importantly have batch control

No one refinishes in the US… Ya Ya Ya, Nexapha claims too, but no one hase been to their “Factory”
And even if they did, who cares, the product is from China that is that, moving Chinese people to the US and telling them package it here is no different than doing it there.

@Stevepep @commander Reviews will no longer appear under Unread, but they will still appear under Recent. Unless someone replies to it, it will show up under Unread.

So if you use the Unread feature, this should clean up your feed when we approve reviews.

@Commander simple it’s about matching the batch to the COA. Caps, crimps, batch numbers, testing, third party testing they do it all. It’s not even worth arguing about. We get none of this with grey you know this and then we test a vial or two and feel better about it but we really don’t know if it’s from the same batch or if there is a mixed batch. It doesn’t happen at Nexaph but you pay a lot more for that comfort. It’s way I hedge with bluitte
