Hi everyone, Steven here (some of you may know me as BayAreaCoins). Happy to be here. Full disclosure up front: I run a small US research peptide shop. I'm not here to promote, I'm here to learn.

My background is Bitcoin. I run FreeBitcoins.com, a domain first registered back in 2010 when Bitcoin was about 15 cents, and I've been running Bitcoin businesses and exchanges for over 10 years, including AltQuick.com. So we were SO excited to find out the research peptide world runs on Bitcoin in a big way. We've been serving customers peptides locally since January 2026, but competing online is a whole different game, and I'd rather learn from people who know it than guess.

"Don't trust, verify" stuck with me from Bitcoin, which brings me to my question. We're sending vials from the same batch to three labs:

    • Janoshik, because of their long track record in this space
    • Vanguard, because they hold US lab certifications (even if not peptide-specific)
    • Finnrick, because of their "community," though their site feels a little "funny" to me 🤷 If it's too good to be true... it probably is?

What I'd love your honest take on:

    1. Is testing one batch at three labs a good call, or a waste of money?
    2. Would you expect the results to be nearly identical, or could they differ a lot (purity, quantity, endotoxins, heavy metals)?
    3. If the numbers do differ, which lab would you trust most, and why?
    4. What would you want to see from a newer vendor before you'd trust them?

Any thoughts, critiques or "here's what I'd do instead" are very welcome, and I'll be around to reply. Thanks for having me.

Mods, if this belongs somewhere else or vendors shouldn't post here yet, no problem, just let me know.

@SnowmanResearch feel free to just look up the conversations with another vendor who cared to ask what the public prefers but then decided to choose to do whatever profited them better instead. just search the forum for Studz and you'll find the answers to all of your questions. And FYI ANY mention of your "companies" is considered promoting. We'd have no clue you have any companies if you didn't mention them.

      hope that helps.

Just someone with a fridge full of research and a browser history that would concern my doctor.

Jano is most peoples gold standard. Vanguard is a good option. Stay away from Finn.
There’s really no benefit in having multiple labs testing the same batch unless you’re a new business trying to build confidence with potential buyers.
With Jano’s newly purchased reference samples the purity will most likely test lower compared to VanGuard.

FYI- Your post is a little spammy with all the name dropping.

Follows research backed science, not “trust me” bro’s.
