Newbie with testing question
-
Hello Jeff & Randy!!
I appreciate the content you provide. Constantly learning. I was introduced to peptides back in July of 2025, from my Doctor. Was 265lbs, to date 215lbs. I have incorporated weight training and all the clean eating life style habits. My life has defiantly changed.
I have a question when it comes to purchasing on the Grey Market. For my research. I recieved several kits, I would like to send them in for testing. How do I go about this? I have say ten 10mg vials of peptide X, I was told to send one vial in, and this vial will not be returned. That is fine, but who is to say the other nine vials are what they supose to be. One would think the testing company would test/validate each vial and send it back?
If there is a video or documents to explain this process that would be great.
Regards,
Mike -
If you're not using Finnrick, that's free.
You may want to check the site and see if they've already done the company lately, save you a vial? -

You dont send in one. You send in 2-3 for mass/puirty and 2 for sterility/endo. If you buy grey and buy one kit you are making a mistake and not saving money.

?Not sure you will find any manufactured in US, but there are some that do their own lyophilization is my understanding. I thought I heard ameano and valor(not on vendor list here) were 2, @randy do you know?

?@HealthSage I don't know that any actually source/manufacture stateside but there's some like Mile High and Grey Axis that do much more testing for contaminates, etc., if their COAs are accurate.

My info is anecdotal; from all I have read and seen, most companies are sourcing either the precursors or the finished product from China. A few, as noted, are lyophilizing in the US. When a company says they manufacture in the US, they may still be sourcing the precursors overseas.
There is so much opacity, it’s ridiculous.

@ResearchCat getting API stateside is near impossible. Some lio in china with the same equipment they process botulinum toxin just hours before. I need to do a long form article on it. The whole industry is absurd but i love it.
