We left March 28 for a 10 day Caribbean cruise (it was wonderful) For 7 days before I went I researched MT-1. I had a pretty good tan when I left. We had a sea day and I used it and laid out for about 2 hours and got dark. I used it again the next day when we spent 4 hours at a beach. I have NEVER been this dark in all of my life. we took a group picture and I am almost TOO dark. I didn't use it again, but I have been home since Wednesday and haven't faded one bit. My question, when will I start to lighten up a bit?

What is your natural skin tone? I'm more german fair skin (type II), so I'm wondering if MT-1 will work okay for me.

I tan very easily and rarely burn usually get a little burnt in the Caribbean. But I tan quickly usually. I would think it would work for you, just might take a little longer. I roll out up a pic of me after 10 daily injections with sun exposure (3 days in the Caribbean)

You've got great skin. Lucky! Nice "fake" tan 😂

Those of us with northern european skin didn't quite luck out. I can tan, but get freckles which is really annoying.

The GHK-cu really has helped my skin overall. I'm 62.

And thank you! I think you will be fine with MT1, you just will need to take it a little longer to get results. I've seen fair skinned people tan with it. I would be wary of the freckles with MT2, they can get deeper

@jackiewatson Exactly. I'm sticking with MT-1 and will probably use it every other day and go outside right after the shot to get the UV. I live in TX so for the most part our weather should be quite nice moving forward.

What dosing did you do and how much BAC water? Reading around it says 1ML BAC and then do .250mcg - .500mcg for a loading phase.

I need to look at my spreadsheet when I get home to see what my vile size was and how much BAC water I reconstituted it with. I do know my dosage was .250 mcg. I never went up from it

@gym.rat , my dosage was .250mg. My vial was a 10mg vial and I added 2ML BAC Water. I took 5 units for 10 days straight. I am just now fading, but I have to say the color is wonderful. I think I may do 1 injection and see if 1 every other week ( or every week, depending on how it looks) would keep this color during the summer.

I ended up doing the exact same and went outside to lay by the pool for 50 minutes. I've read others saying that they do a maintenance dose of .250mcg 1 day a week to maintain their tan, so it sounds like you are on the right track.

Yes. I've been back home a month and my color is just now starting to fade. But, being here in the Midwest, I still am very tan, lol I have people asking me all of the time if I just got back from vacation.

Silly question, but I’m curious? Is it like a regular tan? In the sense of tan lines. Does it stimulate melanin only where you had sun exposure or is it even effective at reducing farmer tan lines?

It signals the release of melanin. The tan is very nice and natural looking. No orange color. And yes if you are getting UV, which you should because it works the best, you will get tan lines. The amazing part is no burn. I haven't burned since I started the pep and all I ever do is burn peel and fo back to pale. It truly works well.

I just did dose #8 today. I haven't been consistent b/c sunny days have been spotty, but any sunny day I pin and go outside for at least 30 minutes and lay out. It works. I don't think I have noticed any new moles or darkening of others, but I do have a lot of freckles so easy to miss. I played pickle on Monday and my buddy said I looked tan. Pretty happy so far. I do get this strange nausea feeling on pin and it lasts for 10 min or so, but its honestly nothing. You just notice it. I'm leaving for Scottsdale next Wednesday so I'll probably end up with around 12 pins before I go.

My vendor is Glacier on this one in case anyone cares.

Same here as I attribute that to my Italian heritage but I'm curious. If this is the case then why research MT-1? My guess is to help maintain the tan.

I used to tan easily, but could never get my shins tan, since starting mt1 I have color and noticing a lot of what look like freckles, also to me, looks like a light orangish tint. Hubs says I should get new glasses lol
