v4 Needle-Hidden Cap not fitting over needle base

I just got the v4 pens and am using Novofine Plus! 32G 4mm but I'm finding that the Needle-Hidden Cap System doesn't fit over the base of the needle. It hits and stops at the base so the needle doesn't come up at all.

Anybody else have this issue?

The slimmer profile wont work with the chonky bd and novos.

You could also just not hide the needle. Thats what i do.

@Mallow The needle is so little, you can hardly see it. It is kind of a gimick in my opinion. I just pull the cap, wipe with alcohol swab, wipe your spot, screw on your fresh needle, jab, remove and dispose of the needle, replace the cap and put back in the refrigerator. I still hate needles and still have my wife do my TRT IM injections in my glutes. I hope that helps…

Makes sense. I found the extra step of re-sheathing it after putting on the needle a little extra to begin with and thought it was more of a protective measure if anything plus was also worried if 4mm was even long enough to make it past the the cap too. Without it, I found a little more peace of mind from being able to see it use the full length.

Mainly just making sure that I'm not unintentionally messing it up by using the "wrong" needle tip somehow. Thanks all.

Not at all…I went through that too. It is designed to hide the needle from view, while you jab.
