I bought on Amazon from PenDepot and a few of my vials had clear signs of wear while in the package. Another vial didnt even have the cap placed on it correctly...I'll post a picture when i get back home.

@saltyalty ive review prior 3ml vials that the cap was wonky. At an angle and not sitting flush. Only half the cap was crimped due to the way the cap was sitting. Definitely looked like factory seconds.

Just a friendly reminder that some things on Amazon are unsafe. Got a batch of 3ml pen vials to review this week and they have not been processed. Which means the are not sterile.

@MyB Thats unfortunate. If they don't take returns clave them in a pressure cooker.

I should mention I spent a small fortune figuring out who actually claves these and there's a few companies or resellers that produce the "sterile bags" that wont change color when steam is applied. Im not sure how much money that saves them but it cant be much.

When they are claved correctly, the indicator will turn and the bag will be slightly crunchy. Autoclaving was my life. Dentistry for 30 years.

I used a heat gun to verify they were able to change color. I used another to experiment and I got the area damp with water and then tried a heat gun, they will not change color if you do that.
It was only five, I got them for free, I have them clearly marked and will use them for future experiments like testing pen accuracy.

@Randy Sound like an excellent idea for a future video on how to. Because I have a pressure cooker but have no clue what or how "clave" is. Color changing labels etc.

Clave is autoclave is steam and pressure sterilization. Chemclave is old school with chemical, heat and pressure. nobody does that anymore. at least not in the states

@Randy how sweaty we talking? Also I would prefer if it was children in the sweat shop as they are better workers...

This is purely sarcastic and a joke

@Juan-Doe Not sure what kind of pressure cooker you have but you can try sterilizing the cartridges in Dynarex Sterilization Pouches and steam in pressure cooker to 250°F at 15PSi for 30 minutes.

I bought some off of amazon as Peptide critic was out of stock, realized the same thing, went down to my local nail salon got a pedicure and had them throw my vials in their autoclave!
