Hi, quick question. I came across a post where someone mentioned repeated injection site reactions from Tesamorelin, and a comment claimed that ongoing histamine reactions could eventually lead to an autoimmune issue or intolerance.

Every time I take GHK-Cu, I get a small welt and occasional itching at the injection site for a day or so. I’ve been using it for about two months, and it hasn’t really improved or worsened.

Is this something to be concerned about in terms of developing a true allergy or autoimmune response? Or is this just a common reaction with this peptide?

Curious if there’s any solid or newer research on this. I assumed it was just part of using GHK-Cu, but I don’t want to ignore something that could turn into a bigger issue. Thanks!

@quicksilver80 same with mine..sometimes the itching lasts 2 days. It is a small welp and sometimes hard. I am not sure if this slight reaction happening long term would cause auto immune issues. I also read somewhere on this forum that the needle can also cause that..any ideas. I have the V2…and use easy touch 6mm needle.

Ive come to the conclusion my rat and my spouses rat are allergic to ghk. Sits hurt for days, left post inflammatory hyperpigmentation for almost two months, and both got hives on their legs that lasted a month.
          Reaction was to Glow.

Peptides are only as good as your Bac Water

@MyB that was my reaction to KLOW also, so I decided to break it down and see what was causing it. For me it was the BCP. I started very very low on the GHK-CU ..like .25 mg daily…my welps didn’t start until I got to about 1 mg. I am at 1.5 mg and not bad but definitely present. I do wonder if some of us need a lot longer to get the body acclimated to any of the peptides.
